I don't think snipers should be allowed in crucible. They show no skill and are very annoying to play against. I think they need another nerf

I'm no pvp player so my input on pvp matters is irrelevant, but in my opinion a sniper rifle takes the most skill to use. I recently decided to head onto a couple of pvp matches for the high level power drop, and in one game in particular this Hunter dude was taking people out all over the place with a sniper rifle. He took me out of my super whilst I was in full motion in 1 shot and could slide around corners and take your head off instantly from distance before you had time to react. He was honestly an absolute monster! Obviously me being a non pvp player made me easy pickings, but he/she was doing it to everyone.

the sniper on console maybe but on PC they are just as easy to use as every other gun

So I don't do this often, but I actually looked at your stats. You are a trash can. You have less than 500 kills on your most used PRIMARY. Your best energy is erintel!! You know, the weapon that takes no skill and could kill from 60 metres without aiming. The truth is that there are plenty of ways to counter snipers, you are just bad at it. I will admit that there are some snipers that are a little too easy to use, cough cough revoker, but even that is much harder than using a shotgun or an erintel. If you took the time to actually learn the lanes on the maps then you would have no problem avoiding them and flanking snipers. There is not a single map in this game that offers a great sniper position. They are all avoidable and flankable or they don't have a lane. Even if you avoid lanes you will get picked every now and then, but that is just a good play by the sniper. As things are now, you don't seem to be avoiding lanes at all. If you can't get that down, then you stand no chance at improving and your opinion will remain invalid due to incompetence.

Not sure how to see it’s erentil. But fusions are the most used as he said. Close to 2,200 kills in pvp. You can view your stats on destiny tracker if you want.

There’s not much else to nerf. I see some people complaining about flinch but that’s it. The gun isn’t gonna have fall off damage in pvp. Just gotta learn to close the gap better or know where to avoid sniping lanes

I know some people are going to hate on this comment, but I don't think snipers should 1 shot to the head. In my opinion you should have a sliver of health left to escape. It would not be hard for someone to then switch to a hardlight or recluse to finish you off. I understand you have to have somewhat of a good aim, but as soon as they see your head, your done. Now revoker is different. If you grinded for revoker, you should be rewarded with a 1 shot kill. But if you are just the average guy, hardscoping with a twilight oath, I should have a chance if I peek around the corner.

That might be the stupidest idea in the history of the forums, by that logic shotguns should take 3 bodyshots, fusions should take 2 shots, and slug shotguns should take 2 headshots. Would literally make special weapons pointless to even use

Making snipers a 2 shot kill is the perfect balance. It gives the person who is being shot at a chance to escape and it gives the person who is shooting a chance to either pull out another gun to finish him, or snipe again. And I'm not saying snipers need nerfed in pve cause I wouldn't mind a pve sniper buff. But in pvp they are too heavily relied on
