Trials brings out the absolute worst of Destiny
Nothing but nerf posts. Nerf this, nerf that. All over pvp obviously, not pve.
Dedicated server nonsense we’ve been hearing people complain about for almost 7 years now. All pvp related.
Cheaters galore. Ddos, hacking, bots.. All that disgusting stuff again but now 10 times as bad because of pc. Again totally pvp related.
Lag. All the sudden lag in pvp is a huge issue again..
It’s just gross. It’s all gross and toxic. Mostly all negative posts on the forums. Pc players with burner accounts not giving af.
Meanwhile Pve is still boring as hell.
Oh well. Sucks it had to be like this during this quarantine.

26 RepliesI don’t have any reason to try trials at all. I already suffer enough guilt from being terrible at comp. I know I’ll never get not forgotten, despite how close I get. The truth is, no team would ever take me anyway, let alone a team willing to carry me without me paying it. I very commonly get told by either the enemy or sometimes even my own teammates that I suck in every way. Some people have even threatened to kill me and my family off. I always wanted to prove all of them wrong by getting not forgotten, but I know it’s completely out of reach. Now comes trials, and I know better to stay out of it. I’m not earning any more ire and hate that I typically get on a regular basis. I would like to get trials armor and god rolls. But I know that I have no place in trials.

And even if it’s not asked in PVE then Bungie nerfs everything for PVE and PVP, they just see the statistics and if they see something is being abused they nerf it.. (izanagi) and that will happen to hardlight and suros next season

Out of curiosity I searched D1 on Reddit for Trials. In 2016 for instance all the posts are virtually the same problems as now.

5 RepliesHard light deserves a nerf though, mainly with the richochet damage. It’s too rewarding for how safe it makes you. Snipers are annoying, but looking down a scope means I can get an easy drop. Hard light has no downsides to it, long range? Easy, that sniper is done. Shotgunners? Easy, need to keep pressure? Easy. The perks hard light are broken when combined together. They should drop crit value by 3, body by 4, or 2 for crit shots. Ricochet shoudlnt buff any damage to players, they should change it to do double damage to pve enemies. [b]Yes they can separate it like this, they’ve been separating perks. Look at assassins cowl, the perk has two effects depending on the enemy. If they couldn’t then wish ender would one shot in crucible but for some reason the weapon recognizes who isn’t a taken enemy[/b] Other than that the weapon wouldn’t be so broken, it’d be in a nice spot and still be the big boy for auto rifles.

7 RepliesPVP should use the same weapon and armour pool. No PVE weapons. No pinnacle etc. PVP is not about who have the better weapons or armours or extra bullets. Its about Tactics, Team players and game skill. Power Fantasy only works for PVE ...Not PVP . You cannot overpower other player because you have better weapons (AKA Fun Guns) But Crota doesn't mind if you over power it. That's why mixing PVP and PVE will only produce dull PVE and unbalance PVP. Bungie should hammered down. Just separate PVE and PVP. PVP should have their own Weapon, Armour pool. PVE should have their Power Fantasy back.

A ton of people called it, I called it. I told many people if they cant even handle comp to give up trials because it would be much worse, this is the only way to rub it in their face. Let them suffer and let them nerf everything, thats literally the whole reason why we had double primaries in vanilla destiny. Trials kills pvp, no lie, I actually find comp to be more fun

1 ReplyNot to mention it causes players who go Flawless to develop a toxic and egotistical attitude towards players who aren't able to go Flawless. I remember back in D1 I wouldn't even Raid with people who went Flawless because they would act so much better than everyone else. Even if they were the reason we would wipe, they would just say "at least I can go Flawless".

Lag is likely more of a total internet problem than a game problem. The system is kind of stressed with so much work at home. At least with Trials for the Sweats it makes weekend Comp a lot more playable

PvP players have not had anything for awhile,let them have this. Personally I like all of what this game has to offer and yes pve needs some love but give the Pvp players this just once
