Hi there,
Thanks for your report. We're currently investigating an issue where the ornament cannot be equipped on year 1 Crown of Tempests. Try pulling a new version from your collections and see if it can be equipped from the ornaments slot.

Hopefully this is fixed with half a year. I much prefer my Crown 1.0 stats.
