The developers want affinity in the game. They have very good reasons for it. They've given you a compromise. Like it or lump it matey.

They gave reasons. I wouldn’t call them good reasons since we’ve had other systems of armour that were far better and didn’t need removing or changing Just bungie once again screwing up a simple concept

You ever try changing a mod while doing something? The system already struggles now imagine if you could see all the mods.
