When you view how the shaders look in the inventory you also see how the exotic weapons look with that particular shader, so it works on exotic weapons, they just haven't turned it on, which is a damn shame.

Yes. I agree. When I realized exotic weapons displayed the shader when viewing it from the inventory... I really wanted it to get turned on. Same with artifact mods on exotic weapons, so we can use them in the Ordeal.

Makes me also say while we're on it that shaders should be like ornaments. Like not cluttering a tab in the inventory but appliable from a catalog. That way, unlocking a shader would feel like having a new ornament type.
