Nerfs to bottom tree dawnblade weren't needed, just revert them

Its popularity was so low, as well as win rate and kda, there were much better subclasses in the game and some of them are still untouched It was a tree focused only on its super and now the super isn't even worth, revert the changes or buff the neutral game This has been said even before the nerfs but ofc it got ignored The speed's "Controversial change" killed the super even more and bungie totally knew it, that's ridicolous

I've said it before, but I'd happily trade the Super energy recovery to an Exotic, like some of the other subclasses have, if it meant getting some decent neutral-game abilities in bottom tree Dawnblade. Things like making the Melee do more than just tickle by having it explode on contact instead of on death, setting everything on fire. That or maybe have the Rift set enemies that enter it on fire to make it useful for area control (or at least scare off wounded enemies that try to rush you). It would certainly make Rift more worthwhile to use. Especially since Phoenix Dive can recover health in a fraction of the time it takes a Rift to do so while also being on a significantly shorter cooldown. I mean it is Attunement of Flame. The lack of ways to set stuff on fire is actually a bit disappointing. Plus trading Super energy recovery to an Exotic would indirectly buff top tree's otherwise lackluster Super. So both trees would benefit from that. With the way things are with bottom tree Dawnblade though I ended up throwing on Wings of Sacred Dawn and run around with Strafe Glide. It's like having most of top tree's neutral game with none of the drawbacks (grenade cost, lackluster Super); all combined with the superior Super of bottom tree. And it honestly makes me think more and more that top and bottom tree Dawnblade are two halves of the same subclass that were unnecessarily split apart.
