Top tree dawnblade not affected by one-two-punch

So I conducted an experiment today in which I got my hands on a shot gun with one two punch and see how much the damage increase is for top tree melee, one two punch didn’t increase the damage even though it’s a melee ability. I tried one two punch on my bottom tree melee and one two punch combined with solar plexus increased it to a whooping 15625 damage, so was this done intentionally or is a bug to be fixed please share your thoughts

  • It will increase progression on weapon frame bounties for solar melee abilities, but it won't make any progress on Saint-14 bounties for any melee ability kills. I think the game has a hard time deciding if it is an actual melee or not.
