The new Xbox is ending the console/pc war and will outperform pc and PlayStation so I am pumped!

Bad bait, overused.
-
An Xbox outperform a pc? Are you a complete moron..
-
lol, no. Pcs will always perform better than consoles. Any decent gaming pc will be better than the new Xbox except in the aspect of price and ease of use.
-
Not even close. A PC will ALWAYS out perform against ANY console. It’s the fact that as hardware increases in power I can upgrade to it on my PC. The console will always be stuck with the same tech (storage memory being the only exception)
-
It is true I read an article on it

Edited by Mordscythe: 1/24/2020 4:58:52 PMIt doesn’t matter what you read.. As the technology progresses, a pc can be upgraded. A console cannot. No matter what you read doesn’t stop the facts of the matter. Unless Microsoft is using some unknown tech.. which it isn’t. Simple analysis can and will confirm this.

Well I don’t know how they can claim that the console /pc war will be over upon its release? Those were their exact words. I’m not a tech but from my understanding it’s a new technology breakthrough...this isn’t “bait” by the way and maybe they will be wrong but I hope it’s true cause a mouse and keyboard just isn’t fun and engaging like an elite controller is

I’m pretty sure it is possible to upgrade a console. Just isn’t done often. In fact. I heard people in this exact forum talking about it.
-
It’s the storage tht we upgrade. Component parts replacement is a PAIN (not sure it’s possible but won’t rule it out) It’s just PC is so EASY to upgrade.
-
No, I’ve seen people upgrade processing on console.
-
I’ve done a bunch of research in to the upgrade of CPU, GPU ETC and found them at you CANNOT upgrade them. Whomever told you that you can is a “liar lie, ones on fire” lol But seriously, it cannot be done. At least on PS4. Figured I’d hit you back with what I found out ;) Information is power.
-
Thanks man, good to know. I do wonder though, it is possible they used “unorthodox” methods to do it though(taking it apart completely)
-
From what I read, it’s 5% chance at best for it to even boot up if you do it that way. The issues are that the components are all directly tied in to one another ON PURPOSE.. there is also a high chance of it does even boot up, that it’ll get hardware banned fast!

Edited by Tilman G: 1/24/2020 6:47:45 PMThen I suppose I was deceived, sad. I had hoped perhaps I could boost the processing power for a cheap amount.(if I could I would never even consider getting a pc) Thank you!
-
All good. I too was hoping it was possible so that I could power up my PS4.. but nope.. they have to all be the same. #NotFair

Oohhh. I need to look in to that for sure! I’ve personally never heard of it or anybody doing it, but I’ll apologize now in case I’m incorrect with my previous statements.
