''If you suspect any form of cheating you are encouraged to use the in-game reporting system.'' Save your breath... That in game reporting system is a trash and it will never satisfy legit player if he think justice will be served. I saw some cheater in a Raid who admit to me himself how report system is not working, especially since Bungo moved from Activision. That cheater told me he was cheating several times in D2. He god banned before yes, but his latest account which I suspect is still in that activity not.

Bungie is working very close with Steam/Valve and this forum is proof of that. If you would care to take the time to read, we have had a major influx of banned players all pleading innocence. 99% of those banned have been manipulating a network or used software that injects code. So yes, they are banning cheaters.
-
Yes people do get banned, but not all of them. And even when they get banned they get back after. One of them confirmed that to me as i said.
-
People who want to cheat are going to cheat. There is not a single online game out there who doesn’t have cheaters. So to make the assumption that Destiny 2 should be immune to that problem and trying to pin this on the devs is not right.

Its 110% right, because its Devs fault that they have this poor ''anti''-hack system. Everyone knows that D2 basically dont have ant-hack protection. And in that case there is no one else to blame but Devs. Yea other games also do have cheaters. I played Battlefield 3 and 4 for years and DICE is only a example of a great Dev because their games have a great anti-hack protection. When you see cheater in BF games, you report it, he got kicked from match + get banned within matter of minutes. Yes, PunkBuster is an amazing thing. With Bungo, reported person get banned maybe on a ban wave which is once in 3 months or so.
-
They get banned all the same? And people get banned daily, if you pay attention to this forum.
-
I do pay attention to this forum and more than I should. So I know that what you say ''daily'' is far from true.
-
They ignore in-game reports.

Edited by Hades: 1/25/2020 1:28:38 AM''Bungie is working very close with Steam/Valve and this forum is proof of that'' PunkBuster > Valve TBH, Valve is a dog$hit compared to other anti-hack protections.
-
Again, only when auto-detection is triggered. In-game player reports are ignored.
-
They do regardless of your comment. In fact, your comments are always negative. Pc has always been a hive of cheaters and hackers and Destiny is NOT the only game to suffer because of these parasites. Yes, we know more needs to be done. But at the moment Bungie is trying the best they can.
-
''But at the moment Bungie is trying the best they can.'' Lol, no they dont. Not even half. We all know that Bungo have a realy bad anti-hack protection.
-
They do not act solely on player reports. They act with their data as well. Reporting players who you suspect is cheating works. It’s not going to work instantaneously, because people manually review this data. The system works.

I keep meeting the same teleporting, super-aimimg, one-shot-killing with primary, not registering hits cheaters over and over. Bungie never acts.
