I'm am so sick of having to constantly clean up my post office of all this useless cr@p you keep shoving there, Bungie. This is probably the most annoying thing in Destiny for me, right now. Forget the Vex Offensive, this is the Blue Crap Offensive and there's no way to win.
Why the heck am I getting three drops of blues for everything? I play a round of Gambit, three blues drop. I play a round of PvP, three blues drop. WHY?? That's not a reward, guys. It's a chore. Thank God the Sundial doesn't do that to me......yet.
And why after 5 freaking years do we not have any tools to make maintenance easier? Why is there no mass delete option in the post office? Why can't I select multiples? Why is there so little space there? No, I have to go one at a time deleting each one for meager resources.
And NO, making me go to the post office over and over again isn't going to make me spend money on the, conspicuously close, Eververse. Why, because I'm annoyed when I go there too many times. If I'm annoyed, I don't want to spend money. When I'm annoyed, I want to play a different game.

Blues are not useless! 100 blues = 1 gunsmith rank up. 😂 Strictly converting from Gunsmith Materials to rank Banshee x1... 100 blues x 1 material each = 1 purple 34 purples x 3 materials each = 1 purple 3400 blues broken down for 1 material each, levels Banshee up 34 times for 1 purple each time, breaking those 34 purples down to rank Banshee up 1 time equals 1 purple. Holy Shit! That's a horrible deal! Blue loot is useless!

Please just auto dismantle toggle
-
A multimillion dollar company should be able to implement an auto dismantle option in 1-2 months max
-
Agreed! It’s tedious and a waste of time . I think at a certain level blues should stop.
-
I want a white engram for some reason lol.
-
Bungie: we will pass it on to the team. What aspects of the blue drop you don’t like? What is it about blue drops you don’t find rewarding? Is there something we can sell in Eververse that will help?
-
I agree with OP, blues are annoying to burn individually. easy solution for Dev: single keystroke on loadout screen that burns all blues in loadout into gunsmith materials at the same time. if you want to keep a blue, don't use the button. see BL2: hitting delete key in vending machines sell all 'junk' items in one keystroke
-
D1 had auto dismantle for blues bring it back
-
Auto-dismantle should only start at a specific light level. My max light right now is 960 with the artifact, 951 without it. I'm still getting blues that help my light level, specifically my highest light level energy weapon is currently a blue.
-
It's part of the game's economy. Just gotta deal with it.
-
Why? Nobody is leaving the game over these issues, why would the change it? You put up with it for years, it's been asked for since D1. Unless you quit, they have no incentive to change.
-
Edited by Critterbot: 1/16/2020 9:57:28 PMSome kind of function I can turn on or off that dismantles blues automatically when picking them up would indeed be nice. D1 had that or so I've been told.
-
Conversely, wouldn't it be cool if you could merge 3 rares into a legendary? Maybe via some part of the UI on the character or inventory screen.
-
I only really play crucible and for the past few weeks I’ve actually wished there was an option to turn off getting loot all together. I have everything I want so it’s JUST a pain to constantly manage your inventory/post master. Would rather have loot disabled? That’s when you know there’s a problem.
-
IS Blue Loot barrage a modded hunter Blade Barrage? Like they throw so many Blue Engrams at you it crashes the game? Sounds broken.
-
Gunsmith materials alot it generates, positive side of this you must look to. female baby cry you are?
-
It would be nice if there was an option to auto dismantle blue loot. I'm sure it's on a list of quality life improvements somewhere.
-
Bump Agreed
-
This man's spitting facts right now, -blam!- the Bungie apologists. #JusticeForMarty2020

Edited by FlareFL: 1/16/2020 4:32:07 PMI have the same opinion. The developers are doing absurd things in a vacuum. This situation is as stupid as an audio alert in microwave ovens. P.S.: Bungie, it's time to remove the rose-colored glasses, do something useful at the end of it all. P.P.S.: Ancient army wisdom says: It doesn't matter what a soldier does, as long as he doesn't relax. Bungie: decided, let them disassemble the blue loot for parts.
-
Yeah, this is partly why I gave up on strikes. D1 had vanguard streaks which was nice, but D2 has too many blues.
-
Destiny has turned into an item dismantling simulator Its really not the best part of the game and really needs an improvement. Also while we are at it, why collect planetary materials anymore too? Spider made farming those useless.
-
What makes it worse is that D1 fixed this exact issue.
-
Remember In D1 they auto dismantled into materials? Not in Destiny 2. Thats just stupid. So many QoL changes left behind for what? WHAT WAS THE REASON?! LOL
-
Max glimmer Max items Blue's Power Ridiculous quest steps etc... Are all just to waste your time, play a different games you will feel better Destiny is not an MMO with huge amount of content.
-
I worry this will never be improved. The lack of quality of life improvements is concerning. I think the only one this season is the finisher randomizer and that serves Eververse
