I've returned after leaving in 2015 and am in the process of transitioning. I've already been in the game and realized there are things I don't remember and things have happened since then that I don't know about. If anyone can fill me in on whatever they can, it'd be much appreciated. I'm also on the lookout for any players who may care to join. (The time I stopped playing was when the Taken King was released and the game first got changed. I left off at 34, the former max level at the time I think, on all 3 classes.) One of the first things confusing me are the silver coins. As soon as I loaded the hub area, I was informed I have silver currency to spend "but it's not possible to acquire any more on the PS3". Is there anything important I should get with those coins (special armor, etc)? Another thing I really want to know is what exotic gear from back then is useless now. Back then things were starting to be made obsolete and I vaguely recall it said that some or all of the exotic weapons/armor from the beginning would become obsolete as well.
