I hope this isn't true.

I'm hoping this has an innocent explanation cus this got me feeling a certain way. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pa6bC1mO8ck Edit 1: wasn't expecting this post to get past 10 upvotes... Didn't know this many people feel the same way. Edit 2: hey bungie please add editing shaders, shaders on exotic weapons and let us make are own armor ornaments from are collections. Edit 3: this post will not get a response from bungie for 2 reasons 1 if they read the comments they will be to uncomfortable to respond and 2 cus I made it and they like ignoring me even tho this is the 5th time iv got a post past 100 upvotes I'm not the only one that wants this stuff worked on. Edit 4: guess this is as far as this post goes nice try guys but looks like these forums are only for kiss asses if you have any problems with the game just save your money instead of wasting it and more importantly save your time bro this game ain't worth it we will never get what we want because they are not listening to "us" thank you to the 400 plus that tried.

 • Hey, Bungie, over here. Lean in really close so you can hear me, cause I'm only gonna say this once. So many of your dedicated players want to look good while blowing aliens (or each other) to pieces. We've been wanting a transmog system for years now, and I certainly was excited to hear about universal ornaments with armor 2.0. But you only went part of the way, and stopped cold. You could have gone all the way and allowed any piece of armor that we have earned at one point in the game become a universal ornament, but you didn't and we know why (trickle-feed). That is a mistake. Take World of Warcraft in comparison. When they introduced a transmog system where you could literally change the look of any armor or weapon with something you had already obtained, it was a great boon for players. Myself and countless others ran old raids/dungeons/PvP to complete sets or get that certain weapon to complete the look we wanted. There were few restrictions to this system and it made the game even more fun to play because there were reasons to chase after loot from older content. Now here we are in Destiny 2. I want you guys to think about this really hard for a while: if you think that players like me are going to grind out a new set of armor when you consider the RNG layering of drops, stats, and elemental affinity (plus whatever season mod slot it has) when I already am wearing gear with BETTER stats/elemental affinity AND is masterworked, you guys are out of your freakn' gourds! Do you guys REALLY think you are going to keep this game alive by drip-feeding the players with multi-layered RNG drops that cannot ever be universal ornaments (or by limiting certain ornaments to only fit on specific armor)? Do you think your players are INSANE?! All I want to do is to play the game and look good doing it. I want to play MY way. Remember that statement, Luke? Opening up universal ornaments like they did with WoW does not mean that players will not continue to chase better gear. With so many possibilities in stat rolls and elemental affinity (some would argue that we have too many RNG layers and I don't disagree, but for this discussion, let's assume armor continues with the current drop/roll system), there will ALWAYS be the chase for something better than what we have. The thought of your drip-feed strategy only pisses me off and gives me even LESS DESIRE to to play this game. Who wants to play a game that doesn't allow the freedom to look or play the way he or she wants? I SURE AS HELL DON'T!
