This is one of the top trending feedback items we are tracking. We are passing along feedback to the team on how players feel that there should be more XP granted from activities so players don't feel like bounties are the only viable way to level up the season pass. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Cozmo, if bounties and xp gain continue to be tied, regardless off increase in xp for activity completion, PLEASE make it so we can grab bounties while in orbit. I'm so tired of having to fly to the tower to grab more after completion. You guys have done it for the eververse store...😒, then why not other vendors?

  • Cosmo, please, please, please, make sure that the teams solution to this isn’t just keeping the xp of raids and 980 level activities the same but dropping the xp from everything else to make high level activities the most rewarding.

  • I understand why certain activities do not give large amounts of XP (ie raids) because it would be incredibly easy to just farm encounters for fast xp. I think a reasonable compromise would be to give large amounts of XP for every Powerful/Pinnacle reward drop that way, you would have incentive to go for those rewards for XP, but not have the ability to farm those activities. This would also help promote activities like Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit. For me personally, once I hit the soft cap, I rarely go back to those activities. If I knew there was a chunk of XP for completing those weekly milestones (maybe 20k xp), it would give me incentive to do those activities.

  • Give us raid specific bounties and let a raid completion grant 100k xp! + 20k from each encounter completed. That would bring more people back to raiding and would make the time invested worth it. Also, give additional xp for guiding people to their first completion in a raid to give experienced players an incentive to take more people through.

  • I for one will be back if I can level quickly without ever doing a single bouty again! I got so burnt out on bounties I had to put the game down. Let us level up by playing the game and not by 250 Cabal precision kills with a bow!?

    Bounties should be an avenue not the main way. If I do a raid, I should probably get more than any bounty. Level ups of rank should provide XP in big chucks too. 😊

  • Why you have to get more from raid than bounties? I guess that time spend or based on some averaged time to complete activity will be great. for example 1000 XP per minute of any activity. If strike is 10 minutes at avg, then it have to reward 10k XP, If raid is 1.5hr at average it have to reward 90k XP. One minute patrol will give you 1000XP. Bounties can be bonus, they even can add some raid specific bounties too. Qith higher XP from activities, they can reduce XP from bounties little bit.

  • Cozmo please make this a priority the game has become all about bounties and not playing the game, plus the bounties have little variation so it becomes like a chore

  • I like bounties and XP grind. You still can do both together, but for sure, more XP for finished activity and less XP from bounties... Im down.

  • How much has been passed on at this point? Cause either your playing us or your team is playing you. I see alot of passing going on but no points being scored other than eververse updates.

  • My problem with the xp isn't so much of the grind as it is the rewards tied to the later tiers of the pass. For example, this season by browsing the rewards I saw that Timelost weapons drop with an extra final perk once you hit lvl92. To me, that just made me not run any sundials (aside from unlocking obelisks) until I ranked up the pass fully. So, i no lifed running bounties (and doing old content like nightfalls and nigtmare hunts) to gain exp and loot drops for the first couple weeks. The grind isn't much of an issue, as during the week i only play for an hour or 2, so i get those out of the way without too much investment. Unfortunately the problem is like i said, i don't feel like the new activities are worth doing/farming until later in the season for good roll weapons when i have better chances of getting what i want/need.

  • It is only the new weapons that get an extra perk. The curse of osiris weapons get no extra perk...go farm those

  • There really is no point in you responding to any of this no one believes anything you say, and all you ever say anyway is "passing this along" however what ends up being instituted in the game is always contradictory to what the community has asked for so hence my question "why are you here"?

  • Add a bounty tab in the main director and stop having us go back to the tower every other minute. Load times suck, no one enjoys going to the tower over and over again.

  • The problem is you tell the dev team: “people are complaining that they aren’t getting enough xp from activities and the only real way to level their season pass is through bounties” and the dev team hears: “bounties are giving too much xp in comparison to activities”... [spoiler]bounty xp gets nerfed, players get screwed, even more players don’t complete their pass 😢[/spoiler]

  • Just don’t nerf bounty XP if you end up increasing activity XP. Some people are quite happy to just do bounties, don’t disadvantage them.
