I think this game was better off with Activision.
If you really think about it it’s what we had since they separated with Bungie.
Nerfs, more D1 content, maps, super nerfs, weapon nerfs and no new Eververse engrams earned through playing the game that actually rewards new cosmetics and emotes. I don’t have a problem with Eververse to begin with, but I just find it odd you took away the access to earn new emotes and ornaments away unless you pay.
Again, it’s not an issue to me since I could care less to spend $10 lousy dollars on a few things since it’s not a “pay to win” system but why take the option away?

Activision is terrible, but people underestimate how awful Bungie is. Has everyone forgotten that Eververse was their idea?

I’m guessing activision used to kick bungie up the ass when they were behind and give them extra resources when needed to get the job done. However now bungie now runs there own schedule and they have no backup to release big heavy content drops.

Those of you doing a ton of bounties to finish them fast and suffering because of it should probably slow down. You get xp for anything you do in destiny, I take my sweet time and I do some bounties here and there if I see im close to something I want. I actually enjoy how we get a new mode and this season at least was pretty good, we got some new weapons, some really strong, others really weak, some very unique play styles coming from the grenade launcher. Stuff like this is fine with me, I do wish there was more loot though, Not exotics or anything too crazy but more unique weapons. I want to see a sword that deflects projectiles, I want to see more of those weapons with 2 different firing modes like the 2 exotics we got this season. Stuff like that keeps the game alive for me

Yeah No. D2 was a lost cause a long time ago.. There's been good and bad with it, but in the end the core game will not change.

Activision aren’t the holy saviour that people are making out, they are gods at monetisation and making profit, just look at the size of that company. Why do you think bungie want to self publish? Because they seen what Activision has and they want a piece of that, survival, growth, greed, call it what you like, bungie learnt from the masters of monetisation.

With Activision we had earnable everworse stuff. Without them everworse gear now costs around $1,500 a year. Ok now everyone tell me how it's just cosmetic and I don't have to buy it.

2 RepliesYou forgot that Bungie was able to push the release of Shadowkeep out by a few weeks to show players they had full control now, lol. That's about all we gained. More recycled content that is lesser quality, Eververse being the worst it's ever been, more bugs and glitches than ever before, and the performance of the game at an all time low. I am not sure Bungie being able to push an expansion out an extra week or two if they "feel it's not ready" is worth all [i]that[/i]...

If Activision owns the Studio (like Infinity Ward), they can do more, but in the case of games like Sekiro, the developer has the say so. You didn't see Activision pushing their toxic monetary schemes on From Software now did you?
