Aeon Safe: Enemy combatants slain will grant ammo to you and other aeon cult members. Minors count for primary, Majors and Enemy Guardians count for special and Ultras and Bosses count for power
Aeon Soul: Enemy combatants slain will grant a portion of melee, grenade and class ability energy to you and other Aeon Cult members in range. With Ultras, Bosses and Enemy Guardians granting the highest portions
Aeon Swift: Enemy combatants slain will grant you and other Aeon Cult members a boost to movement, handling and reload speed. The duration timer extends the more Aeon Cult members are in your fireteam

Edited by Bluestar488: 1/12/2021 11:12:52 PMDoes anybody even use these. They’re just trash or infusion fuel. TBH they really should be just to removed from the game, period.
-
Soul sounds like free Wellspring. Seems a bit busted
-
Last 2 would still fit neatly into same bundle of uselessness that most exotics fill. Ability energy after you’ve done everything in room is hardly useful when you hit the loading screen on way to next one and timed gun stats run same issue. Ammo would make too much sense, but realistically we wouldn’t all have ammo problems randomly if they just gave us back Ammo synthesis from 1.
-
Aron safe would be broken af in pvp so that’s a no but the others are fine
-
Sounds pretty good, but imagine a 6stack of aeon cults with this in PvP. That would be hella brocken
-
Good ideas all around, but what do you think about aeon safe for pvp?
-
What does it matter mate? The game is rubbish.
-
Each class have the same thing. Throwing grenades gives grenade energy regardless of class, melee gives energy regardless of class, and class ability gives class ability energy regardless of class. Having them divided can make one class's exotic worse than another's and lowers the choice factor.
-
That still leaves Aeon Swift as a waste of an exotic slot.
-
They could be worst. They could be Kerpi's Horn.
-
Edited by parallelish: 1/15/2020 1:33:56 PMThis would break pvp but if these only applied to pve they would be worth using as a team: hunter dodge = faster movement speed, reloading, weapon handling, ADS, and switching weapons. (last 10 sec.) titan barricade = grants team an over shield. warlock rift = health recovery starts and is increased for 10 sec. weapons and abilities deal 5% more damage (stacks when standing in empowering rift.) all would be granted no matter how close you are to your allies.

Personally I think team based exotics are a bad idea, fundamentally. I'd much like the to be reworked to do their own things, and then them be attached by lore to the Aeon Cult we still know nothing about.
-
The problem with things like this is they’re either useless or become the meta for group play. I for one am not interested in a crucible where every team stack has unlimited supplies of heavy ammo and constantly regenerating skills and super fast movement speed.
-
I always felt that the Aeon exotics should passively boost Mobility, Resilience, or Recovery depending on the class's affinity, while reducing the cooldown of class abilities to nearby allies. Of course, they shouldn't go beyond the minimum cooldowns that you'd reach at 100 stats. Or would that still be broken?

Edited by A.S.A.: 1/14/2020 2:36:22 PM
Aeon Safe: Enemy combatants slain will grant ammo to you and other aeon cult members. Minors count for primary, Majors and Enemy Guardians count for special and Ultras and Bosses count for power
Guardian kills shouldn't reward special for ballance reasons, it should reload all weapons on kills and give primary ammo proportionally to how many use the exotic, maybe also a small overflow. In pve they sound good tho, I'd actually use them. Edit: maybe lower rewards (still no special ammo on kill) but if four people use them you get three second wall hacks on the guardian who recently killed a teammate wearing the same exotic. Like the hunter super. Or two seconds if only three people use the exotic, got to think about competitive here a bit more.
-
BOOM. Boom.
-
I would prefer just removing them altogether. Getting an exotic engram and having this pop up is the worst thing ever.
-
So useless in pvp...... gotcha!
-
Here's a thought. With the nerf to super granting exotics, what about adding a faster super charge time for doing things that your class normally does? Like the Rat King, you could make it stack among the party. If all three are wearing it, maybe have the recharge rate cut in half? It would certainly make strikes more interesting. To limit abuse, you could limit the cap to three times. Otherwise crucible would be mayhem 24x7.

Edited by ManBlaster: 1/15/2020 1:51:03 PMthe Warlock Aeon is terrifyingly good...If you have a full team of warlocks with high discipline... I'm not joking. Your whole team can run around an Iron Banner match just spamming nades EVERWHERE... its bat shnitzle crazy. The hunter can work with a 6 stack of hunters and 2 wearing gemini jester and you can endlessly spam the shit out of the exotic effect... but again you need at least 4 hunters in a 6 stack of hunters running Aeon Swift and you need to move as a group just spamming dodge abilities. The titan one is just lame and I haven't found any viable 6 stack of titans gameplay utility with it honestly. A stampede of 6 shoulder charging titans isn't much of an actual threat. but IF you get a full 6 stack of warlocks have atleast 2 middle tree solar warlocks and all of them running Aeon Soul with fastball and high discipline you can have stupid amounts of fun and make Shaxx proud by finally throwing enough grenades.
-
It’s a shame really because I think they look good from an aesthetic point of view.
-
How would aeon safe affect crucible? guardians just drop primary ammo so it doesn't break crucible even more?
-
So, Hunters are just receiving Feeding Frenzy?
-
"We've heard your feedback and will be passing it on to the development team"
legit my comment will be as much of help as an actual community manager one will help.... which is none
Edited by --KNIGHT--: 1/14/2020 6:56:41 AMMy idea is much less simple but all the more rewarding. Allow them to grant each ability, grenade, melee and class ability energy to other teammates on any kill. That way it persuades people to use them and the more people using them the more efficient it is.
-
Will someone please enlighten me. What is an Aeon and how does it apply to me?
