To people who brag about not using meta weapons in crucible
Trust me, I promise you that we all don't care. It doesn't make you any better than the next player if you can't execute and know your positioning in maps. I don't care what weapons you use as long as you aren't feeding the other team. It's funny too because these are the same people who leave the match because they get three deaths and think they cannot perform properly.
Just had some moron message me for using chaperone and he bragged about using a bow a submachine gun. Told him I didn't cared. He ree'd out of my messages and then blocked me. Looked him up. He had a 1.08 k/d and left his matches early.
Anyway, if you brag about "being different" in crucible, then you're a loser.

11 RepliesI mean it kind of does mean you are better. If you are using austringer and outgun someone using a rapid hit spare rations you are factually the better player at least in that engagement. Austringer literally kills slower than spare rations so you need to have a very good strafe and flawless aim to outgun it while spare rations shoots very fast and if it has rapid hit it has no recoil so it is easy mode in comparison. If you are using a non quickdraw shotgun and out shotty someone with a quickdraw one you are factually the better player because quickdraw gives you a huge advantage. You can pull the gun out at light speed and aim down sights in the blink of an eye while a non quickdraw shotty handles like you are dragging it through tar so it is impressive if you can pull that off and makes you the better player.

I mean, meta weapons are a meta for the reason that they give an advantage over other players if they do not have that meta. People who use non-meta have to deal with the more challenging opponents since their weapons give them the high ground they don't have, and so if they defeat the opponent with the high ground, then they're the better player. People who use meta want it easy, non-meta players are usually the kind of people who want a challenge, so they just step out of that crappy meta.

Like "Erentil? Oooh I'm soo maaaad!!" *Switches to Erentil and still gets bodied* "REEEEEEEEEEEE!!" *Goes to forums* "Omfg Erentil is so damn OP, need it now!" I'm not even that good anymore and I still find it hilarious. I think my best run in PvP was in D1 when I had a 1.9-2.0 during the Hopscotch Meta.. That gun was special kind of nasty. People assume I go "try hard" when I use NF but honestly it's just learned. It was the only gun I used for a long time (in pvp and pve) and it's engrained into my brain. I am loving Waking Vigil and Spare rations though, but I can't get a roll to save my arse. I like to think myself an average PvP guy. I'm not topping with 6.0 every game but I can manage to pull my weight and I preform miracles here and there. lol I mean I still get mad tilited from time to time but I try to settle out and just play for fun. 🙂
