Wishender is getting fixed "soon". But people loved having a powerful bow. Anyone up for a discussion/ideas/suggestions?
People really loved having a bow that just whacks whatever you slap with it. But I think having all that power from the get-go with a non-heavy weapon seems a bit OP.
So I think if Bungie wants to bring in a bow that is reminiscent of what the Broken Wishender was like there could be two potential approaches:
1. A bow with RNG arrows.
Arrows have a chance of randomly inflicting any amount of damage. Entirely uncapped, disregarding your and your enemies' current light level.
2. A DPS bow
Each precision hit increases damage. Starting with 100% base damage to 500% with sufficient hits. For a little balancing, with each damage increase the bow's hitbox could decrease in size, or the drawing time of the bow increases. Or maybe both.
Anyway, speculating and dreaming up things is fun.

in pvp i have paired this bow with foetracers. despite everyone saying to pair it with oathkeeps, foetracers allows you to track your oppenant for a few seconds when you have eyes on them. Also foetracers gives you a slight damage boost to targets with low health. having a bow that does damage on the entry and exit of an enemy plus, the extra tracking, the wall hacks, and the slight damage buff makes for a pretty decent combination.

There’s powerful and then there is overpowered.

Or, they could leave it as is as it doesn’t effect pvp. But that won’t happen. If it’s fun it gets whacked by the nerf squad.
