I would say playing voidlock with 100 discipline and handheld supernova , a good lane weapon and a backup shotty is just as powerful in crucible as any build hunters and titans have. It’s insta kill if they try to rush and you also control the midrange where shotguns and ohk melees are useless.

 • Exactly, that matyr grenade launcher stops all shotgun rushers as well, and getting your grenades every 3_5 seconds hand held nova

 • Change the shotgun to erentil with back up plan and nezerac’s sin.

 •
Change the shotgun to erentil with back up plan and nezerac’s sin.
That’s my exact set up. Light reactor, nez sins and mods on the bond. Once I build the super I switch to crown and emperor Palpetine people. I wish they would add a ground based dodge without needing to jump on top tree. Then erentil becomes a death sentence. Missing that charge shit can be survived!

Then I can use the erentil! I’m kind of bored of the bygones, it’s been abused and replaced currently. I needed a new some what effective option.

 • Personally if I do play the class I’m running arc. That crown of tempest / super can regularly get 2-3 kills. It’s ionic blink means the shotgun bum rushers can’t shit you down. Also having that pulse grenade with arc web and enhanced ashes to assets helps A LOT. Do you play solar top tree higher up?

 • This season i do like playing solar top tree with grenade / melee build and enhanced momentum transfer. It’s a pretty nasty but fun to play build. Really good in gambit when the charged light perks kick in.

 • Gambit is different but yeah I agree. Crucible is hit or miss. Depends on map and mode. Most maps don’t support the flying and floating style (ceiling size and sight lines) and the dash is only viable in air. Why does that matter? Because of the nature of the jump and the slow speed. The hunter dishes and breaks sight line immediately. The warlock needs to jump and the dodge making it less viable in a combat / pvp setting. Hunters are just dominant in that area and regard.
