Pit of Heresy needs better masterworked armor
This is not ok bungie. The fact that there is no protection for any stats for a PINNACLE activity is just sad. I really dislike that i got an armor piece that was fully masterworked with a base of 60 power. like really? It is a pinnacle activity and should be protected with the stats and should give you at least something of 70+ because that is just not ok.

But look at it like this: Get your high stat rolls from Iron Banner and the Raid (or even the armor from the pass this season thats on par with Raid stats) and use the low stat armor from the Pit to accumulate materials to masterwork the armor you get from the other two. You just keep the pieces until you don't need them for a light bump and dismantle them. That what I do. I have some pretty great builds without a huge reliance on blowing masterwork cores all the time.

Bungee will NEVER FIX THIS. They make something, if it’s broken in the communities favor it gets patched. If it’s broken and it causes you to play longer then it never gets fixed. To Bungie it greatly benefits them to give you bad armor so that you continue to play. So to them it’s not broken working as intended. You misinterpreted that you would get a useful piece of armor. Bungie is not about rewarding you for time but finding ways to waste your time instead.

Right now they are just light level filler for me till I get a piece the same light or higher, then the pieces are going to become them sweet sweet prisms 😂

It's welfare armor. It SHOULDN'T be the first and last piece of armor that you ever keep. I think the masterworking economy is too harsh and should be retuned but getting masterworked PERFECT freebie armor? No, just no.

Not only that but there needs to be duplicate protection on pinnacle drops as well. Imagine getting 2 helmets from the 3 pinnacle activities on your Hunter? That happened to me last week. This week same deal. Difference was I got 2 chest pieces from the 3 pinnacle activities. That’s two weeks in a row Bungie. Duplicate protection on pinnacle activities needs to happen NOW!

2 RepliesMe and anyone I have done the dungeon with only seen it drop low, I think it's on purpose as you get a free masterwork they don't want it to be the best. I just do the dungeon for the 6 enhancement prism I get from dismantling the armor, my only source that doesn't need hundreds of enhancement cores.

Iron banner is the only thing that drops high stat gear, all others give no more than 56.

14 RepliesI did a run last night, and it doesn't even award current armor. So basically either materials that I don't need, or a useless piece of armor that I already had. And this is why I'm starting to hate this game again.

1 ReplyWhole thing is a fart. Ran it about 2-4 times max and just dont care. Like Hive or Taken anything should be gone for a LONG time. They're played tf out. Worse is next raid will probably be Savathun. Hope not, hope that's story and raid is Scorn later. The loot sucks, the guns are bad, and ots long, not fun, boring af, very been there done that feeling, lame mechanics, more oversized adds as bosses, shit level design. Its big. Thats all. Fn really bad imo tho and so was Shattered Throne. I like the idea of Dungeons, but so far both entries suck
