I am, but I'm honestly wondering if its worth it at this point.
It's now been more than ten years since MP3, the current Retro dev team is almost all new with very few series vets, and that's after they were told to start the project over from scratch after the "extremely talented" first team apparently failed so hard that Nintendo scrapped the whole thing. The negative rumors surrounding Retro don't help.
The fact that Nintendo is transparent about the delay shows that they are at least aware that fans are watching closely, and that a quality product requires quality time. But damn, that time.

I think it was more Nintendo not knowing what they wanted to do. It didn’t sound like it to me that it was technical issues.
I think it was more Nintendo not knowing what they wanted to do. It didn’t sound like it to me that it was technical issues.
Could be that as well. The Metroid universe has a lot of potential, but Nintendo might be struggling to think of a new direction.

I think it’s because Nintendo always wants to do something different. They may not have figured anything out. They didn’t want to cancel, so they gave it to Retro because they know the fans respect them and they made the last 3 games.
