As a diehard fan of the Metroid series but more specifically the Prime trilogy; its a no brainer for me, especially since I already own a Nintendo Switch.
The development delay for it actually doesn’t worry me at all, in my opinion, I think Nintendo is trying to make sure this isn’t a -blam!- up considering every Metroid game released since Prime 3 (with exception to Samus Returns, but it IS a remake of M2) has been met with little to no enthusiasm by the fan base. I also respect Nintendo for having the balls to come forward and say “we don’t like how this is going along and feel like you guys won’t either”. The inclusion of Retro Studios back into the project has me very excited as well, given that they’ve gone from strength to strength since the Trilogy with DK country.
Anyways, what about you guys? Are you interested in Prime 4 and will you buy it or not?

1 ReplyI didn't play Metroid Prime for the first time until this year and I loved it so much. I wish I played it as a kid. I'm excited for Metroid Prime 4 and I hope to god they get the same composer to come back that did the soundtrack for the first game. Metroid Prime's music is so beautiful and amazing. Also one little detail I loved about the game is whenever you'd get hit with a bright flash of light, you could see Samus' face reflection on her visor and she'd blink and react to the light too. That blew my mind whenever I first saw that.
