    Contraverse Hold = kind of cool but you have to use a crapy super to go with them. Ophidian Aspect = Looks cool but a exotic that is used to fix a hole in Warlock melee speed by extending its reach. Transversive Steps = fixes a hole of slow Warlock movement speed Wings of Sacred Dawn (potentially) = 15% will not be enough to prevent you from dying when your hanging out in mid air. If I can be shot out of my rift at full heath do you think that a 15% bump in damage resistance is going to help when I'm hanging in mid air like a sitting duck and have to consume a nade to stay there??????? Getaway Artists. Cool but you have to use a crapy super Starfire protocol (for double healing nades very underrated). Again you have to use a super that's all but useless in PVP. The exotics you listed, except for one, are used to fill holes in a subclass instead of enhancing it like other class exotics do for a Hunter or Titan. It doesn't make any sense.

  • As for wings of Sacred dawn.. I personally hope that they allow me to be a little bit more aggressive with a quickdraw opening shot slug shotty with Icarus on it. It may well be the new variant of slide shotgun... We don't want to be in the air for a long time as we will die, just quick engagements

  • Some of your replies are very narrow minded though. You speak as though warlock should be able to spearhead the team's attack. Be the anchor and mid range support. Quickdraw is the best use for ophidian who cares about the melee buff there honestly as you use a shotty or backup plan fusion in CQC when you have been rushed. Well of radiance isn't that bad now considering roaming supers can easily be shut down, so the neutral game outweighs the negatives of the stationary super imo. I won't get into the rest as I'm not interested in writing a novel. They only need to make devour reload weapon and make nova more like D1 and then give some sunsinger options to the middle tree so you can Viking funeral burn and self res or just remain as support class. Other that I think they are hard to buff without being broken like nova warp was. I don't hate warlocks I've played them alot across D1 and D2 and started D2 with voidwalker and used it for ages.

  • My replies are spot on target. Having to use an exotic to fix a short coming in a subclass just shows how un-balanced the Warlock subclasses are to Hunters and Titans. Example: you are forced, like you said, to use a shotty or fusion. What happens if you want to use a bow? You lose your melee speed. Dude I appreciate you helping me making my point but I don't think that was your intent. Thanks anyway.

  • That's the way I use quickdraw, you can snipe and use last word or whatever. But yeah your using quickdraw wrong if you want to use a bow with it lol... Ever heard of the quick access sling mod does the same thing bro

  • Wow great response dude. Thanks for saving me the effort. I doubt they will respond to this one. Man bungie need to see it too, perfect explanation of some core issues with our exotics / supers / base abilities like movement. You should place it in a separate post so maybe bungie see it.

    Contraverse isn't as good for close qaurters unless you can hit all bolts due to the overshield and regen nerf, and is tied to a singular ability unless used on top tree vortex grenade. Ophidians are still bugged on console, not sure on PC, IE melee bonuses are still broken. Wings will not be used on console, it may see small use on PC. Double heal nades are good for PvE but why do that when you can use luna or use the chest piece to regain your super just as quick as you used it for your teammates inside it. Steps are alright, but the movements for warlocks are already kind of sucky, none theless it's just a movespeed bonus for sprint. Astrocyte I'll state is useless, and tied to an already bad jump which was crippled from D1. And getaway artists have easy to dodge tracking for a grenade use, more of a niche "for fun" exotic.

  • Bro healing grenades are great in PvP if your playing with a coordinated team. Fight at B and all 6 engage with overshields... I know who I'm backing in.
