Are the kids who complain about 'team-shooting' serious?

Or is it just some mass joke/troll? It must take a special kind of special to consider teamwork cheating 🤔 Guess some kids are just to salty about anything that kills them in a game nowadays 🤷‍♂️

  • It's more of how often something happens than the event itself. Look at it this way. 1v1, you're better if you win. 2v1, you're either lucky or better than both, especially if you didn't need OHK weapons and abilities to do so, any more and that is undeniable skill. I understand it's a team game, but when team shooting is constantly accompanied by spawn trapping/ killing and spamming OHK weapons and abilities like they've forgotten primary weapons exist, that's when I have a problem. Now let's set up a scenario which this happens so much that you're better off switching to another game for a bit. 6 randoms, various loadouts. This scenario often happens to these people including myself. 6 stack with these loadouts that can be or actually are considered toxic. Class number isn't exactly something that you can use in this example. Hunter: Wormhusk or Coyote with Arc battery and class mods. Warlock: Contraverse or Getaway with grenade and class related mods or Astrocyte. Titan: Skullfort or OEM with melee or super related mods, Stronghold, see below. Now lets set up the weapons that you'll likely see. Kinetic: TLW, Revoker, Randy's, Mountaintop, Chaperone, Blasphemer, max ranged Blast Furnace, DRB, Arbalest, Service Revolver, Malfeasance, Rat King. Special: Wavesplitter, Mindbender, Retold Tale, Recluse, Luna/ NF, Erentil, Beloved, Skyburner (with catalyst, strong af tracking and no falloff). Heavy: Tractor, Truth, 1k, Wardcliff, Hammerhead, Black Talon (dual purpose shield for teammates). This match would without a doubt, devolve into a heavily one sided match where supers are a lot more frequent than they should be, that's not taking into account the rage quitters and people who decide "nope, I'm out". When you're not getting spawn rushed with close-med range weapons, you're getting pinned down and surrounded by everything else. Then comes heavy weapons and there's not much point in moving from spawn. The score by that time is 7-30 at best more often than not, all made by a lucky sniper, shotgun/ fusion, or the lucky team kill which doesn't change the fact that both will die anyway. Would you call this fair? I certainly wouldn't. Just because it's not breaking any rules, that doesn't mean it's fair muchless skillful. Contrary to what some might believe, even if it's a legitimate playstyle/ strategy, cheap gameplay like this isn't much better than cheating.
