I went through the playstation store and bought $20 worth of silver while not logged into the game. The silver didn't show up once I was in game, so I went through PlayStations checklist of things to do such as restoring licenses and whatnot, and also could not get a hold of anybody due to it being a holiday weekend. From that point I decided "no big deal, I can go ahead and get a refund on the silver I didn't receive", so I went ahead and purchased a second $20 worth of silver but this time IN THE GAME VIA THE EVERVERSE MENU. Once that transaction went through suddenly I had $40 worth of silver. I contacted Sony and they told me there was nothing they could do and that if I were to get a chargeback issued, that my account could (or would I don't remember which) be banned. I don't know if they meant the Bungie account or playstation network account. At that point I asked them if Bungie even had the power to restore a purchase made through a different medium. He said they were not allowed to disclose third-party policy. So once I realized there was no private email or phone number I could call to get in touch with anybody at Bungie I decided to create this post. I only spent the silver I wanted to recieve in the first place and another 5$ thinking of course they'll refund me, it was a mistake not made on my end (not receiving the first purchase worth of silver despite trying). So as it stands I'm $45 deep in what was supposed to originally be a $20 purchase until I saw that sick Phoenix protocol ornament that I had to get. The original purchase was for the Cartographer ornament set(1500 silver) on my Titan and the heretic robe Thorn ornament (700 silver) if that info is needed.
