[a few things. First, we don’t know what happened to the ghost hunter, hopefully someone put him six feet under with a weapon of sorrow. Second, there is only one time that some theorize what you are suggesting is possible, but it happened with a human and is highly debated. Third, when an exo is rezzed as a guardian they do not reset and no longer need resets. That’s all I can really say.]

 •
hopefully someone put him six feet under with a weapon of sorrow.
You talking ‘bout Uldren? Cause you gotta remember that yes, we all hate who he was, but if he’s been rezzed then he won’t know about any of that. How many people did you murder in cold blood before your rez? Exactly, none of us know who we were or what we did, you don’t see anyone holding stuff we might have done against us, so it don’t really seem right to do it to him. As I’ve said before, I ain’t forgiven him, but he ain’t Uldren anymore. (This is assuming Bungie sticks to the memory loss idea and doesn’t have worse memory than me)

 • [did you not read the “ghost hunter” lore card from the “ghost stories” lore book? If not, I suggest you do, because that is what I’m talking about.]

 • Can’t say I did, when I saw “Ghost Hunter” I thought you were talking about Cayde’s Ghost. I’ll give that a read.

 • [Not gonna lie, I wouldn’t see a connection to cayde’s ghost if someone mentioned a “ghost hunter”, as cayde and his ghost were an obstacle to deal with for those who killed him. They did not hunt him down, as the title “ghost hunter” would suggest.]

 • In my opinion, the second the Rifleman started to climb, he started a hunt. Don’t need to be on their trail for days to hunt something, a hunt can last seconds depending on the target. (Don’t you bring up a google definition or you will be the one being hunted.) But hey, I’m a Hunter, most things are a hunt to me.

 •
[who has time for google definitions?]
[I more or less meant they didn’t hunt him in the sense that killing cayde was not a predetermined part of their planned escape, and had Ikora, Zavala, or even the player character been in caydes position we likely would’ve met the same end.]

 • You say that, but I’m pretty sure any strikers would have cleared the field....and Ikora oh don’t even get me started on Ikora.

 • [You don’t seem to be getting my point, which was that uldren and the barons didn’t have it out for a specific guardian and were most likely just prepared to take one out if it got in their way. Although it being cayde, courageous and reckless as he was, probably just made it easier for them because of the fact he kind of arrested them all.]

 • I get that, I’m just saying that a Striker would paralyze them with fear when he/she started to charge, and Ikora...well, she’s just a slightly nicer death incarnate. (Don’t tell her I said that) If anyone else (including Cayde) was down there, then yeah, it’d probably end with them on the ground. Still curious on how the Rifleman managed to get that round...

 • [well, to cover the round, the mind bender probably got it. Also, I don’t think the scorn have a concept of what “fear” is, and for two reasons. The first is the obvious fact that they are undead fallen and likely have things like independent thought and emotions outside of rage purged from them, and the second reason is something drifter points out when you go against scorn in gambit, “scorn are fallen with nothing left to lose, makes ‘em deadly.” Essentially, the scorn don’t know fear as they have nothing left to lose if they die and they can just be revived over and over again, if that clarifies anything.]

 • Ikora scares....no matter what it is, Ikora scares....she made Shaxx scared dammit!!! Ikora would probably teach them fear all over again.....

 • [perhaps, but what is something most consider terrifying to one who has a reason they fear nothing?]

 • Thanks, I thought exo's reset no matter what, given Cayde was even mentioning the possibility, and is this event recorded in any of the lore cards? I would quite like to read up on that.

 • [a mix of lore cards, grimoire, and in-game information. Also, I think I know what lore card you’re talking about(“All in” from the man they call cayde right?), and it’s implying a normal reset, meaning he’d be alive and well beforehand, as Exos can’t be reset post-death anyways.]

 • Yeah, Cayde mentions his dislike of the number 7 and how he "Stops counting at six" in "All-In." Though, where does it imply a normal reset? This may be my unfortunate lack of knowledge on exo's (ironic, considering they're my favorite characters and all my characters are exo's) but I don't see that implied anywhere, in "All-In" at least. Is it him mentioning the "deep stone crypt?"

Is it him mentioning the "deep stone crypt?"
[Him disliking seven is most likely just something he picked up gambling. When applying to resets I think he was contempt with how life worked out for him after reset 6, and doesn’t want the do-over reset 7 would provide. It implies a normal reset because a reset after death most likely result in a Frankenstein’s monster situation, assuming you’ve read Frankenstein. The whole deal with the deep stone crypt is kinda weird. We don’t know much about it, but my ideas on it are as follows: it’s the code name for the exo reset program, the code name for the place Exos are reset, or merely an idea placed in Exos minds to give them a sense of having a homeland. Unfortunately all of that is speculation as we have no singular agreed upon piece of information about it.]
