Only 2 exotics worth using on a warlock are passive gains and one happens to do something... ophidian aspects and transverive are incredible BUT their our only options... I’d like too see most of the worthless pieces get reworks. Especially the exotics with really nice designs... look at eye of another world or the stag (ornament). Both of witch is use if they weren’t so bloody useless in PvP... Hunters and titans have their fair share of worthless exotics both in PvP and pve but warlocks get it the worst... in D1 exotics all had a part to play or excelled in one particular way where as D2 most exotics take more time trying to activate the perk over actually using it in a real situation.... or simply too passive to notice a difference..

    It's the community fault why a lot of exotics are shit on all of the classes in this game, as well as the D2 year 1 terrible meta. Back in D1 players complained about how exotics too powerful and shotgun, sniper thus resulting on a shxtty game that almost died if it weren't for the go-fast update, i actually quit the game just because of the Warlock's abysmally slow movement and its still not good enough i rather D1 Lock movement but beggars can't be choosers.

The go faster update saw the hunters turned into gods and the husk turned into a super exotic. With the right mods and the arc skill tree you could sprint and get a new health recharging and reloading dodge in about 9/10 seconds. When has the warlock ever enjoyed something that strong (even going back to D1?) The answer is never. Then comparing ANYTHING to the launch state of destiny 2 (the e-sports wanna be edition) is pointless.

  • The ram, that’s all I used too use!! It let you shotgun/melee ape around the map and constantly get your health back as long as you stayed aggressive. Right now warlocks have it rough in terms of overall movement and exotics so something’s gotta change... can’t remember if it was you mentioning that “the complainers in D1 saying exotics and specials were too strong lead to a garbage launch” its true. Of course the special weapons were sorted out but the exotics are still cut off at the knees... I’m still waiting for the day the TWAB displays a fat list of exotic armour buffs and reworks!! Just hope it’s before D3 if at all at this point...

Then you could take those annoying double taps / burn out from the thorn and survive a shoulder charge. This is the ONLY time when I can legitimately think of a warlock exotic strong enough to even compare to the OEM / husk.

  • Warlocks had it GOOD in D1 bro... we had the ram, void fang, sunslinger, self res, Nova was a strong shutdown and offensive super and talolc (butchered the name)

Viking funeral or dual sticks, higher resilience as a standard. Even looking back and comparing the RAM in its OG state vs the husk / OEM it’s still no where near the level of op as said husk / eye mask.

Head shot kills extend its duration. Call the perk insanguination. Revert the D1 solar bracers back to form and give two solar charges. Rework the eye, the aspects and the wings. If you want true balance the wings should grant health on dash. After all the hunters had the husk for seasons and it’s still a 10/10 option and titans have the eye mask. Which after 3 nerfs is STILL going to be the best exotic in the crucible .

  • Eye of another world could be a solid exotic just from its unreal design!! Also ophidian aspects believe it or not is one of the strongest warlock exotics imo; 100% reload speed for everything and 1m more melee range isn’t too bad. I’d be nice if it also increased melee attack speed or you know..... make it so we don’t melee .4 seconds slower then the other 2 classes... lol

If a rift charge is full it puts it down way faster and same with the melee and grenade. If charges the eye makes its usage happen faster.

  • Or make it so kills with that specific ability charge that ability. While also passively increasing ability regeneration by a small amount. I think as of right now all it does is mark low hp targets with an outline and gives a small regen boost.
