Weasel error code
Just got kicked from game after a few contacting d2 server messages then a weasel error code edit: can’t log back into the game as I’m now getting chicken error codes

I am originally a Stadia D2 player. However, a few days ago I decided to play on Steam. The lag is gone, graphics are way better with my own PC specs, no skips, etc... Anyways, ever since I started playing on Steam D2 I've been getting weasel error. I have searched everywhere what causes this. No answer to my question. My internet is fine; I am in the US with over 100mbps. No issues with internet connectivity. No issues with my computer as I play other games as well with no issues. I am a network engineer as a profession. I have not dug deep into this. However, I have found a quick solution to this. I am playing Steam Destiny2 while connected to a vpn server in sweden. I have not had issues since. I believe, either the servers are not suitable for the amount players per region or servers are limited due to free to play services. Good luck to all. I hope Bungie fixes this issue, so I don't have to be connected to a VPN server while I am playing.

Ever since shadow keep dropped I've been getting weasel pretty frequently. the last 3 days I've been getting them non stop! my pc doesn't have any problems but my xbox does. I've uninstalled reinstalled, clear cache, cycle boot, you name it.

Hello everyone. players from Malaysia are also constantly getting chicken, weasel, and baboon errors. at first I thought certain ISP are the reasons why (also kept seeing some friends play with almost no interruptions) but after checking the local groups, the problems are rather nationwide or worldwide. hope they do something about this. thank you guys, and Bungie!

ton of weasel errors today (no contacting destiny server error notifications), just poof, back to main screen with good ole weasel. So frustrating...

You're told it's "peer-to-peer" to push onus to us. If you value your sanity, it's time to vote with your dollars and your time by moving onto another game since there are many that don't have these ridiculous issues. It's clear that they don't have control of their infrastructure. If there was a lemon law, I'd have gotten my money back!

6 RepliesI was one match away from going legend in competitive crucible match. My team got weasled, and we lost the match. I also was weasled and rejoined into the same game that was then already lost. @Bungie, i would like compensated in 80 Glory points for this error. This is a destiny server error, not an error with my home network. Not only does this hinder my gaming experience, but it wastes my time. Also, my goal may now be unattainable. Best Regards,

Same issue. PC here. I load in perfectly but once I try to change emblems or change weapons I get contacting D2 servers and get weaseled shortly after

Yup. I get weaseled as soon as I’m about to get into a match. Can you fkn clowns at bungo do anything right? Seriously. The immense lack of anything productive from this company is just laughable anymore. What a joke.
