Cross-Save simply sets up your save data so that you can load it on other platforms you play on. If you had both characters available after Cross-Saving, then you're misremembering the order you did things, as if you had a character on Steam and then set up Cross-Save using your PS4 save data, your Steam character would have been unavailable because it would have been put in storage; only your PS4 character would have been available for you to use. Cross-Save does not merge accounts or make all characters available from multiple accounts at once. Based on the description you've given, you set up Cross-Save first and were using your PS4 account as your save data; you didn't have a Steam character prior to setting up Cross-Save. So, when you disabled Cross-Save, your PS4 characters were no longer accessible on the PC. The inactive clan setup is because Cross-Save uses the clan of the selected account; since you had chosen your PS4 account as your save data, and your PS4 account didn't have a clan, that's why it was showing up that way. All you needed to do was request membership again in the clan with that account while you had Cross-Save active. If you had come here sooner with your issue, we may have been able to assist you and kept you from disabling Cross-Save. Unfortunately, because you chose to try and fix things by disabling your Cross-Save instead of discussing the issue first, you'll have to wait out the 90-day period before you can enable Cross-Save again. There are warnings on every page of the disabling process that says you will be locked out from enabling it for 90 days as well as on the main Cross-Save FAQ as well. - Could you please share several of these thousand of unanswered posts concerning the issue you seem to be having? In my memory, I've not seen any similar posts describing the issue you're describing, so having those others that I might be able to assist with would be useful.
