Yeah, I'll probably just stop playing Destiny 2. I can find a new game on Steam that actually works on my primary account and offers actual customer support. You really misunderstood why I have a problem with Bungie's "solution". That's like amputating your hand because you have the wrong color nail polish.

I understand the frustration of how it must feel and I kinda get why Bungie does this in some regards. Weirdly enough this affected a friend of mine and my initial suspicion was something to do with the fact that he owns like 600 games on that particular account. While this doesn’t prove much with the game and his issue we also have to realize that Bungie has issues with steams friend list being too large. I do hate that Bungie has issues with specific players and probably 1% of the playerbase has this current issue. Hate to see you have these issues and I wish you the best of luck here or elsewhere.

Thanks for the response, it really helps get a little sympathy from others. It sucks that Bungie has such an active public relations department and no way to even talk to someone about technical support. It'll make me think twice before spending money with them ever again. I mean before this I was even thinking about getting a Destiny tattoo, but this kind of spoiled my mood for it.

Your money your body for the tattoo that is. But the same goes elsewhere. For instance they just announced halo master chief edition for pc which obviously isn’t Bungie anymore but it’s still their original baby and I’ll still support it even tho 343 maintains it now. As for Destiny, while I don’t support them doing certain things for paid in game cosmetics and their overbearing support for pvp that’s all in my own personal interest. Point is it’s all digital. If you want to rebuy the game on a new account that’s up to you or if you want to be patient and eventually see if they resolve your account issue that’s up to you as well. Anyways hope you have resolve with this matter whichever direction you choose

Well part of my problem is that I pre-ordered Shadowkeep and by the time I realized Bungie wouldn't solve my problem it was too late to return it on steam. My blizzard account has forsaken on it. So I can't ever get my DLC in one place with Bungie's solution. It's the lack of empathy from them and the genuine loss of money that has me so upset. I'll be honest I'm unhealthily fixated on this, and I'm trying to get past it. I just wanted to try to keep my pre-order bonus, I didn't know it would cost me the entire DLC or my progress & forsaken. Thanks for listening and the engaging response.
