"Who would buy an exotic heavy? It's probably not even that good. Now these SUNBREAKERs though, oh those look awesome!" -Everyone who immediately regretted their life choices.
"Oh neat, that rocket looks cool. Imma get it." - Me, and every other person who got Gjallarhorn on a whim before finding out it was super awesome.
Good times, good times. D1 W2 is perhaps the single most hilarious week in the franchise due to how pivotal for anyone with enough strange coins it was, knowingly or not.

I told my friends to get it, but they wouldn't listen lol

I remember i missed out on Week 1's weapon, didn't have enough strange coins. Made damn well sure i had the coinage to buy Week 2's weapon, no matter what it was. Thank krishna i did, i didn't get a ghorn drop for close to 2 years.

Im pretty sure i said those words exactly when i saw him selling it week 2

Edited by El Atriox: 11/8/2019 7:44:20 PMI will never understand the logic behind the "who would want an exotic heavy" statement, I mean, if heavy weapons are supposed to be very powerful, why on earth would you skip the opportunity to get an even more powerful heavy, knowing that exotic tier stuff is superior? I bought that thing as soon as I saw it lol
-
Also, me included, armor was the only way to raise your level. I didn’t have enough strange coins anyway; but I remember skipping a few weeks of weapons to buy Lucky Raspberry etc. instead.

It was 2 weeks after the launch of D1. No one knew if a heavy exotic was worth it.

Edited by Levigumba, Overload's Bane: 11/10/2019 12:33:06 AMBut the thing is, people were already assuming heavy exotics weren't worth it

That’s what I was saying

The way you said it made it sould like people were unsure, while the way I said it makes it sound like people were sure
