Bug with leviathans breath quest
Every time I get to the area at the end of the tower stage of leviathans breath quest entering the ventilation / red room, my Xbox turns off. It hard resets and pops up the “Xbox is overheating” warning. I’ve tried this 6 times now - both with and withOUT the quest in hand. I’ve played strikes and crucible with zero issues, along with other games and apps on the Xbox. This is literally the only time or place this happens. Any idea what’s going?

I'm having the exact same issue, and before all you pc master race start flappin your mouths about un pluging the vents and how much better pc is, The vents on my console are clean, and I have a fan blowing directly into the intake, also it is sitting on top of a table all by it self with absolutely no restrictions to ventilation, also when the issue occurs I run my hand across the top of the machine, and it is not hot, one other note is, I completed the quest with no issue on another character on the same xbox.

1 ReplyI'm an IT by trade. Let me tell you that if you're getting a warning that says "Xbox is overheating" there's not more to it. Change your setup in your living room or wherever you play. You could even go buy a little $3 fan to keep it cool.

Xbox has some problems. BL3 was crashing hard on there too.

Yeah mine gave me the same warning, after having some serious destiny related issues.. I think it’s something wrong with the game too.. as my xbox is on a huge glass shelf, all by itself, with several inches of empty space on all sides, and it’s not enclosed.. my point being, it didn’t -blam!-ing overheat, this reminds me of the “Anthem hard resetting ps4 systems” Bug... it’s only happened to me one time though.

That’s not a destiny problem. That’s your console. If you have anything blocking the vent, remove it. -
I mean I play PC man idk what to tell you, in my exp of playing console it might be your game disk.

They turned ventilation off so you could climb... lol or.. bill gates didn't paid his silver credits... or... they will sell the fix at Eververse... Jokes aside. I'm on PC with no problems at all. but I saw other posts in the forum about it
