1 ReplyClearly you didn't play D1 where every patch for some reason, fusion rifles would receive a nerf. Long after they were already in the ground. Fusions don't need a nerf, it's a play style, just as shotgun rushing, sniping, and grenade launchers are all a style of play. All very different, each a good counter to another. Fusion rifles are a fantastic counter to shotguns with ridiculous ranges, as are snipers to fusion rifles, and grenade launchers to snipers. They are very balanced. Simple solution is to not use primary weapons to try and gun down special weapons. Anything that is designed to be a one hit kill should be dealt with by another one hit kill weapon. Nerf fusion rifles and then shotguns don't have a counter, etc...
