Okay so ya know how Bungie wants destiny to be more like an MMO Rpg?
Well we have buffs and debuffs. Where are our status effects?! If you don’t know what I’m talking about. Take your typical fantasy rpg. You have things like frozen, burning, paralyzed, and bleeding.
yes I know burning is in destiny but it’s barley noticeable
We should get some things like that too. I believe if could make builds and endgame more interesting.
Here are some of my ideas.
Burn: works how it’s always but increase duration and damage.
Void Burn: Creates an AOE ball of void damage that slightly increases Void weapon/super damage. Not as much as tractor cannon but enough to make a difference.
Disorienting: based on the hunter melee ability. It could blind enemies causing them to attack in random directions or just plain miss.
Electrify: based on hunter melee ability. Can cause enemies to stagger in intervals or stop moving depending on enemy strength.
suppression: on top of tether/suppression nade. Suppression should decrease rate of fire or damage of attacks as well as disable immunity shields.(Servitors and Chieftains type things. Not boss phases)
If you have any ideas or improvements. I’d love to hear them. Not like bungie is every gonna add these things but it’s nice to dream.
