Can't complain. People wanted matchmaking, but refused to see why it's a bad idea.

This is a poor example to argue your case because this nightfall requires very specific weapon mods. A trait not repeated in any other nightfall

Every time I saw one of the threads about people wanting mm on Nightfalls my reply would pretty much be that I was all for optional mm (and I still am) but we all have to be extremely aware that plenty of players would not understand how to run Nightfalls properly and we would simply have to deal with those people if we wanted to participate in the mm side of them. I would be willing to bet there are still plenty of players that don't understand how Unstoppable or Barrier even works yet they still will go in and try their hand at a Hero level.

its cool, its working as expected and it's utterly nice to have .. dont't like it ? don't use it.. easy..

Dude in D1 we would grab people in the tower to do raids. You can't any more random match making than that and we did just fine.
-
Why is it a bad idea? yet to see or hear one.
-
Especially in raids, which requires communication and a fair fireteam leader in case someone likes to troll the encounters. Thought it was a good idea at first, then the potential of trolls and refusal of communication would be a major issue for raid matchmaking. Inviting everyone on a strictly mechanical activity with ease is not ideal.

Edited by ToRni27: 10/23/2019 11:20:27 AMNot really. Bungie should give information at the moment you are flying in. Like "Kill all champions to get the best loot possible. If you don't do that you will get regulary loot at the chest." If I look for a fireteam on bungie.net than I often have to explain to them that we need to kill all champions to get our loot because they did not know that. Bungie does not educate their players. I am missing so many information messages or learning videos in this game. Even mods don't tell you how much more DPS will you deal with them. You need to google it and I am sure only few will do it.

My thoughts too. People will either complain about not having matchmaking or complain about getting matched with idiots. There is no escaping the complaints.

It is great idea, I even start play NFs. I never played them without MM. So.. Great job Bungie. I understand that I cant expect anything from MM team, so I do not mind, I do not run 920 NFs for Prisms as there is just very little chance which is not worth it. But I finally was able to finish some quest steps requiring Nightfalls.

I wouldn’t say “can’t “...
-
It isn't a bad thing, though. It's just the few bad people who make it bad.
-
MM has been more good than bad though so that logic is a bit self serving.
-
Was going to say the exact same thing mm expect ppl to fly through it want to make sure to kill everything gonna have to grp up

Does the term "optional" mean anything to you? You can always go in with your own team.

You don’t have to use matchmaking....
