Edited by BlitzWolf69: 10/23/2019 12:11:01 AMThe ONLY problem I have with this chore... I mean "quest" is that final step. The boss fight at the end of the strike. You absolutely cannot stop running. You're just running, jumping, hip-firing and hoping your shots land. Meanwhile, almost any melee from enemies will one-shot you and they all have perfect aim and all of their damage output, literally ALL of their damage output, is through the roof. It's not fun. Isn't this supposed to be fun? That wasn't fun. It was absolutely infuriating. Even though I managed to get it, I will never do that boss fight again. I wanted to do this lil quest for the bow. I wanted to help my friends get it later. But after that experience? Hell no. Screw that boss fight entirely. It's only done that way to make the strike take longer instead of them actually adding meaningful steps and encounters to the quest. "Should we actually have players doing something for a change?" "Nah! Just make the last step a strike without any changes other than the enemies are over-powered beyond reason and the players can never take a moment to actually stop and shoot to clear ads or attack the boss. It'll take longer to finish so, that means, we made a long and meaningful quest."

The Arms Dealer strike wasn’t too bad...until the final boss battle when they cranked it up to 11...or 12...or 13. Intense.😳
-
Epic Arms Dealer was really really really annoying. Whoever put that boss section together is a troubled soul 😰😜
-
The strike is harder (at least last boss) than the NF 950 this week, lol Also, Bungie, im am getting ONE SHOT at 968 LL by n00b dogs red bars ,care to explain where is the power? This is bullshtit on an another scale now
-
The last step was straight up hot garbage.
-
I thought the boss fight was fun, that strike always prioritized smart movement if you don't melt the boss right away and the missiles were a nuisance at worst.
-
Why not just tell us where the vault it? I hate watching videos for info that takes a sentence or less to convey...
-
Well at least I didn’t have to use a bow in the crucible! Thank god! Else there would have been a bunch of Robin Hood’s running around hahaha
-
How's the weapon? Useful anywhere? Or is it just a fun toy?
-
I had fun with this quest The Arms Dealer strike was no problem, not sure why people hated it. Just gotta keep moving during the boss part! I liked the precision kills with a bow step as well. Hadn't really used a bow before, so by the time I finished that step I felt more comfortable using a bow, so might start using one regularly. Only thing that I didn't like about the quest was the first step, where you have to find the workshop. I had to look up a video to get a sense of where it might be. It was either that or wander around the tower for hours exploring from one end to the other, which I'm definitely not going to do.

It would be nice to have a mechanic in each strike that teaches you a part in the raid... But that’s just me... 🤷♂️
-
The quest is total bullshit .... I guess bungie can’t help but force their crap on players. They could have add lost sectors and heroic public events but no what do they add gambit + gambit prime and nightfall strikes
-
Speaking of Banshee... since he is so forgetful, should we really trust him to be a Gunsmith? I mean, he might forget to take the thing out of the thing, or put the thing into the thing, and blow someones face off.
-
A rubbish quest for a rubbish exotic
-
Does the bow at the end drop at pinnacle level or at 950?
-
That Arms Dealer strike was no joke though.

-
Thank you
-
Thanks mate, that was confusing 👍👍

No only didn’t I have time to find Banshee’s vault, but I didn’t have time for the quest. Wanna do that for me?
