The items for bright dust are too expensive and there isn't enough sources for bright dust

All items should drop-in activities or bright engrams.
-
Right. $10 for a finisher. 🤦♂️ Chill out, Bungie.
-
It’s not too overpriced if you have access to Mom’s debit card.🤓
-
Eververse turned me into a NEWT!!!
-
Buy more lube. It's getting worse every season.
-
Too overpriced? What's the right amount of overpriced?
-
This need to stay on top.

Can't agree more! I have decided to ignore eververse until Bungie decide to move it back to how it worked in season 4-6 , and supported it if a nice ornament was available, but the way it is now I will never ever buy anything from eververse again! Bungie has gone the way of EA and I will never support this.

Everything in the store is aimed at Destiny’s “Whales”. In my opinion, there’s needs to be more cheaper items up for grabs. I believe that more average players would be inclined to spend money on Eververse loot if the prices are more affordable. It’s like eating an M&M, you tell yourself your only going to have 1, but it’s so tasty, and so small, that before you’ve realized what you’ve done, you’ve probably had a handful.
-
But you know why right? 2 words: First Light
-
Yeah, it was fine when “bright engrams” or whatever gave you current Eververse items and those items gave you dust. People like myself could earn and or buy everything before the season was over. After last season trying to buy most of everything including all the “glows” for the solstice armor I went from over 40k bright dust down to basically nothing. Now I have to pick and choose what to buy each week. Not to mention that some of the stuff we will not to be able to buy for dust, and they won’t tell us whether that is case or not.

Not saying you were part of the raging defenders of Eververse, but those of us who came to the forums in droves when Eververse was being spoken about and during the launch of Eververse, trying to let everyone know what will happen if we dont stop Eververse; only to be harassed, personally attacked, TONS of CoC violations (no Ninja Justice as it is one sided) with no accountability, we warned you all who are now complaining about Eververse that this will happen. We told you so. Now you are reaping your own despair. Next step for Eververse will no longer be selling cosmetic items, it will be selling Weapons/Armor/Perks/Exotic Engrams etc., etc. with game stats and rolls.

The worst part is the small amount of items that are even available for purchase with dust. Most of the good stuff is silver only and if you dont jump on the grenade... poof it's gone. That's how you push FOMO into a marketing strategy

Edited by ellejay13: 10/23/2019 11:31:10 AMI agree. People saying this is a free to play game now, really? It’s not free to play. Parts of it are free, but in comparison to Fortnight or Warframe, it’s absolutely not a free to play game. Those two games have every right to charge high prices for their cosmetic items as they are true free to play. I know there is the “it’s only cosmetic, you aren’t required to buy any of it” argument, but that is not the point. A game that you pay for it,and pay full price for it, then asks for pretty high prices (relatively speaking) for their cosmetic items doesn’t seem right. I know Bungie is a business and they need to make money. But there are scummy ways to make money, and they seem to be on that path.

$10 for a Ghost or Sparrow is ridiculous. They should be 200-400 Silver at the most.
-
I just spent $100 on Silver. Fight me.
-
There's bounties, read someone who went over 270 bounties and is now hoarding 27000 bright dust.
-
Not a deej to be seen in your post. Its to be expected.
-
Just complete 400 repeatable strike bounties for the item you want. It's not that big a deal....
-
4k for an emote lol
-
Working as intended! -Bungie
-
They actually lied about bright dust. They said we were going to get more dust than ever if we were playing a lot. And....i did most bounties i was able to do, grinded to rank 100+ And i gained less bright dust than what i was able to get during a single week before shadowkeep.
-
Oh this is nothing! Just wait till Festival of the Cost drops.
-
I think there needs to be an in game way to earn silver tbh, look at Warframe. They at least offer discount codes every once in awhile through login rewards and have the trade section to barter and use their premium currency. I’m still iffy as to why Bungie hasn’t created something similar to a trade or auction house for premium currency considering it’s a common mmo feature and they’ve said they’ve wanted to be like and mmo.

Well, bungie in the last 2 seasons kinda cut down the dust sources! Now, is just a joke. I would be ok if they take out every source of dust and put everything available for silver! At least we would know with what we were dealing with, instead of this bs where in theory we can buy things with dust, but the cost is extremely high and the sources are extremely low and pathetic. Not gona even talk about the over priced silver items, because is just stupid.
