Alright, let me explain. The Monte is not brokenly op nor is it brokenly underpowered. It feels right, feels good. My issue comes with the bugs it has. I've noticed Monte Carlo does *not* progress Auto Rifle-type bounties. As an example, I tried to do a Nightmare bounty where I had to get 20-25 Auto Kills, and MC kills did not count. I had to grab a random blue Auto to complete it. Another thing is that if you try to bring any PvE opponent into Finisher range, they never get there. It kinda seems like MC's system wasn't updated when it was put into Destiny 2. While I do love the Monte Carlo, (it's ornament is real nice btw) there's a few bugs with it. Thanks for listening. :D

Pro tip: wanna have fun? Equip worm god caress, switch to middle tree sunbreaker, equip Monte Carlo and spam the throwing hammer. It is easily the most fun build in Destiny right now and is actually very viable.

There is a bug going around some players, where the player cannot interact with anything in the world, besides killing enemies in quick succession (if not the enemy gets their health back). This also behaves on bounties, you gain no progression on whatever kill you make. How do you know if you have it? The enemies will ignore as if your not there and will not attack but you can attack them but with no benefit. How do I get rid of it? Die. I'm not kidding, respawn and it's fixed. I have not seen any posts about this and the bug has been around since Opulence. I call it the GHOST bug.

Worked fine for me. Maybe perhaps you could try it out again after Iron Banner goes away tomorrow. Servers have been behaving oddly since that went live.

I can’t get the gun to drop. Everyone has that 1 drop when playing Destiny that takes forever. Mine is Monte Carlo.

I'm jealous that you have it... It was my favorite weapon in D1 and I'm almost dying to get it in D2... Every time I get an exotic and it turns out to be a dupe I cry a little inside.... I do hope they fix any bugs though it may have that's for sure....

Haven’t had that happen to me. I’ve been using it to grind for a god-roll arc logic. I also got the finishers most of the way done using it in Vex offensive while working on both the auto rifle and finisher kills.
