it's my fault accidental delete they can't fix the problem for 90 days now I can't play my Xbox One

Basically I created a cross-save went to upload my steam to it accidentally deleted the Xbox part doing. I have fat fingers in a small phone and I had a double password protection on my Steam account the other links on the PlayStation and everything else work just fine but somehow I hit the red button on my Xbox One . So out of it I lost my character. my fault but now every time I created Xbox character to continue playing with my other kids patiently , waiting for the 90 days it just sends it over to the steam account and I can't play on Xbox one anymore . nobody can help me and on top of that everything that was in the vault that I had saved I can't put on my steam character so cross platforming is not working and I don't mind waiting the 90 days I don't care about losing silver why can't they either reinstate my account and make me pay a some sort of fine or stop deleting my account on Microsoft because apparently you're punishing me for even if I did want to not do cross-save I'm punished now I can't ever create account for 90 days on that account OR just deleteing the new characters I make on my Microsoft One account or how about this stop making it cross over to steam unless I want to migrate like the actual ad said when we originally signed up for do I'm not complaining about waiting 90 days I am not complaining about anything except for the fact that I cannot use anything that's in my character that can use to all my other characters I'm complaining that I cannot create new characters on my platform because they're going to migrate to the other platform so I'm being punished for an accident that I take full responsibility for and now I can't play on my Xbox One with my children I have time to leave Steam and everything now from my app account and not play Xbox at all and not use the app please help because this is ridiculous Do I go to the moderator and I guess I'm long-winded the moral of the story is is please don't accidentally disconnect from your cross-save count because you'll lose the game from your safe platform and on top of that you won't be able to play on your save platform and on top of that you won't be able to use your gear and you lose all your missions that you've had for 90 days and they don't tell you all that you can't make a new character on your safe platform and use your gear and you won't be able to do anything everything will go to the other platform that you did not want to use all the time but use the cross-save account as a point of where you wanted to play and nobody can do anything about it at this place and trust me Microsoft has a support phone call place steam has a way to get a live person this form from support blizzard has a live way of getting somebody from support but apparently Destiny and these guys don't have a way to get somebody from life support to help you to try to get this mistake fixed they just tell you you're stuck for 87 days not being able to play on your Xbox that you spend money on to make sure they have a license for it so yes free Destiny I'm out I'm having my kids delete it all we're just going to go ahead and go back to you playing other games that are not from Bungie thank you wow

  • Hey there! Sorry to hear that your experience with the Cross-Save Feature has not been the best. Bungie always tries to make guides for things like cross-save as easy as possible to prevent errors like yours from happening. Unfortunately, in your case, you were the one that caused it. Unlinking your Xbox account and therefore losing access to it (unless you link it again) and then proceeding with your Steam account , which has no characters as the Xbox character has been unlinked, made it so that you basically started a new character. That's why there even is a red button - to warn you that you might do something wrong. Then about the 90 day lockout: True, there could be other ways to do this, but this lockout is mainly because Bungie wants to prevent people from misusing Cross-Save in whatever way. You also get warned about the 90 day lockout. About the "missing support": Bungie is an independent organization which is by far not as big as Microsoft or Steam. Due to this, Bungie has limited options, so they decided that they would use the Forums: here, a lot of people that are players like you can help you, the Moderators and Ninjas are there to help (as you know, you wrote a message to a lot of them) and the Destiny Player Support can also help. It might not be a live person, but you have a whole Community to help you. I'm sorry to hear that you don't want to continue playing any more as Bungie can't do anything about your fault. So the only thing I can do is to wish you and your family good luck for the future.
