Looks cool! But before they add this they should improve the mode. As it stands, probably the worst mode/activity in the game. The main reason is the level disadvantages.

That's how it has always been. If it was not because of that it would have been regular Crucible with a different coat of paint
-
Except you're wrong. Iron Banner did not have level disadvantages early in Destiny 2. Guess what...it was more enjoyable too.
Lord Saladin, once Shaxx's mentor, runs the Iron Banner tournaments to strip Crucible weaklings of their illusions and prepare them for a battle with no concept of fair play. The Iron Banner tests a Guardian and the Guardian's gear in a definitive, relentless mock war.
It's in the Destiny Iron Banner lore as to why there are a level of disadvantages. Well, I guess everyone else thought it was boring and why they brought back the level of disadvantages.

Hmmm, where did you find that?

Interesting. It's kinda ironic. I'd say the level advantage is an illusion for some people.
-
how is it an illusion?
-
Lesser skilled people winning fights due to their level advantage. It can give them the illusion that they're better than they are by winning those fights. If they keep in mind they only won certain encounters due to that level advantage, then they would be disillusioned.
-
I am confused. Why lesser skill? The real illusion is playing the game as it has no real merit outside of it. That is the point of it. You grind to get a high level and it only last the first or second Iron Banners so in a way, the level advantage only works early in the Iron Banner. After that, there is really no level advantage.
-
I'm saying if two people of equal skill level fight, one being 970, and one being 920, they could perform exactly the same and the 970 person wins. Then their perspective might be they beat that person because they're more skilled, an illusion. And with the seasonal artifact that isn't true. Now the players who play most will always have that advantage, with the people who play less playing with a handicap.

I'd argue comp is worse IB is easy you just need to be around 950 and it's fine
-
But comp actually feels competitive, at least a lot more than Iron Banner. Iron Banner just feels like, let's see who played more, not who plays better.
