What is going on?
Bungie, What is going on.....I have been playing Destiny and Destiny 2 for years now and I have hit that proverbial brick wall. What is going on with EV? the hidden money costs which have increased any way? and Iron Banner? Why have you changed the way it is played? I can't play Iron banner for any length of time due to a health issue and I am NOT the greatest fan of PVP anyway but now you have put me off after completing the first IB bounty I went to pick up my first engram. Only to find I can't until I complete ANOTHER bounty. I also understand that the weapons are all the same but only the armour has changed............WHAT IS GOING ON? I am trying my hardest to remain positive. Please help me and explain what is going on?

9 RepliesBungie gotta keep the lights on so they increase prices in eververse, charge for reskinned content etc...activision was supposed to be the money hungry one though 😂 The truth is out now I guess. Oh well I don’t see anything worth buying anyway. We had way better EV content back in the early days

Played a round to get enough tokens to turn in for an engram. Turned the tokens in and tried to collect the engram to be met with "You must complete Scour The Rust". I started working in "Scour The Rust" and completed it, or so I thought. I went to collect the engram and realized I have to complete more steps to it. The kicker is that the engram is 902. My LL rose when I was playing, to 909. I now have limited interest, as I know that 902 drop will end up being scrap.

I told the naysayers that I won’t have to prove Bungie is unbelievably greedy, they would do it themselves, because their hunger for money and incompetence are deep-rooted issues that will never be fixed until they shut down. I was right.

6 RepliesIn cause of lack of content they need players to grind artificially extended quests that you can not skip. They need this to having time for for work on next updates. They are in this situation because they don’t update old content because they want you to buy new expansions. I hope that they will change this approach after they will learn how to make free to play game with sane monetization. But I think Bungie need at least one year for it.

3 RepliesIt really isn't as bad as everyone is saying. For Iron Banner, what you are refering to as a bounty is actually a quest, pretty short quest too. It rewards you with a new weapon after every step of the quest and then asks you to use the new weapon to get some kills. The good part is that the rolls on the guns you get is pretty good, at least the ones I've been getting. After the 5 step quest, you can turn in tokens, which takes about 15 games. You can do the other Iron Banner bounties to get additional tokens and loot along the way. It's not locking rewards from you, it is giving you rewards up front as an incentive to play Iron Banner. I'm not very good at PVP either, but only took about 2-3 hours for me max. For Eververse, they have changed the way they sell cosmetics. They are leaning more on Silver for current season items while allowing for Bright Dust purchases for older season cosmetics. This is really a win-win as it allows players that want to spend the money to be able to get their new cosmetics, but still allows players that don't want to spend money to get these cosmetics over time. Don't feel the need to buy anything you don't want to buy, you will be able to get most of it in a free manner eventually, which is okay since it is just cosmetics.

They actually made the IB quest line simple and it can be completed in a total of 15 matches. All you have to do is get super kills, 25 pulse rifle kills, 20 fusion kills, 15 smg kills, 100 kills (assists count). This quest line is 300 percent easier than the other bs they had. As far as eververse goes. If you don’t like it then don’t spend money there.

Omg, what hidden money costs are you talking about. And they added a quest before you can turn in tokens (to encourage the use of other weapon type for new players). If you don't like it or can't do it, don't. Its really that simple
