Please put the forges back!!!
Having this rotation is just plain stupid. You didn't remove them off the maps so this should not be a difficult task. I already have the good stuff from them, but I'd like to pick which one to do. I grinded them and you took them away 😑😑😑

1 ReplyI'm certain their reason for forge rotation was to condense the amount of players into a single pool (so that newer players trying to do Volundr/Goffanon/Izanami wouldn't be left high and dry by matchmaking). I do think it'd be nice to be able to just jog to whatever forge instead of the rotation though.

4 RepliesIt was also a huge mistake to remove most of Black Armory quests, i skipped the Annual Pass and returned right before Shadowkeep and tried to get in to the Black Armory stuff, but half of the quest are gone. Its a huge cut to the Black Armory progression system and story, now its just like a simple vendor without any background for players who not played Black Armory pre Shadowkeep, i really like Ada 1, im sad.

5 Repliesif i'm correct and what other people are saying is correct. you can't even complete the entire quest line in a day and have to wait for the other forges to get the drop from fallen and the other drop from vex. if this is true idk who thought that was a good idea but my god that's stupid.

3 RepliesIt's just impractical. Certain forges have certain things linked to them.. Keys from Maximum Temper chests. 500 kills with certain weapons; Threat Level, Jötuun, etc. It's silly to have to wait a rotation cycle of up to three days for something that could previously be launched at any point in time. I understand that consolidating them into a shared playlist is nice but plenty of people will still be using them even when spread apart.

They should've worked just like selecting a strike on a planet. I don't know why they though rotation was needed.

11 RepliesThey should put them back, but don’t have them as a matchmaker activity. Get your clan mates to help you out or even LFG. There is a bunch of new players playing the Forge content that can”t get pass certain forges because they’re locked behind a daily or weekly reset.

100% agree. Not to mention, this now timegates parts of the Izanagi’s Burden quest. Timegates are bad, mmkaayy

And if they were going to only have one, the lore friendly way to do it is have Begusia as it can forge all frames.

21 RepliesThey lied again. They said they’d let you select the forges from orbit, something people have asked for, but then sneakily removed 3 of them, something no one has asked for. You also still need to go back to Ada-1 for the radiant frames step, which people wanted gone, only for Bungie to put eververse in orbit (again, no one asked for that), and they lied there as well by still keeping the annoying eververse ad in the tower. Another recent lie is them saying that Iron Banner bounties give 960 gear, which is a confirmed lie. Bottom line is, don’t trust anything they say. I won’t even go to their past lies.

1 ReplyI absolutely agree. I've been saying this since the day the changes took place. I hate being forced into going to Izanami, but I'm trying to finish the Reunited Siblings triumph. I'm also working on the Blaster Master triumph as well, but I can't revolve my schedule around these rotations.

I just liked Bergusia forge because I could make my Code of Commander Titan give the spider tank a big ole hug with my super until it exploded. I can't hug the Hydra, Servitor, or the Cabally boy quite the same way.

Absolutely bump, it was such a bad idea to do this and it pisses me off knowing izanami is unavoidable now. Bungie has so much replayable content on hand but actively handicaps themselves by pulling bullshit like this.

Week 1 of Shadowkeep, I went all the way out to Bergusia because I hadn't grasped this implication of the rotation option being added. It's really far, bruh, and you can't even use your sparrow. Imagine my confusion and dismay when I couldn't activate it.
