Cross save error

So before Destiny 2 was available on steam, I linked a steam account which I have just learned is the wrong account. The other issue is that because I have recently bought silver (No shame) I have to wait 90 days until I can unauthorize my old account. Is there a way I can skip the wait? I don't remember ever seeing a warning about purchasing silver. If there was a warning, bungie please show me. However all I am asking is to resolve the error on my account about the silver, so I can then unauthorize my old steam account and add my new one.

 • The warning was on the page with the information about Cross-Save (also the same page you start Cross-Save from: https://www.bungie.net/CrossSave
What actions can limit my use of Cross Save? The following actions will impact a player’s ability to enable or disable Cross Save: - Players who disable Cross Save cannot re-enable Cross Save until 90 days after it was disabled - Players who purchase Silver cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased - Players who perform a refund for purchased Silver cannot activate Cross Save until that Silver is re-purchased for that account - Players subject to a ban or restriction cannot activate Cross Save, or disable Cross Save if already active, until that ban or restriction has expired
Unfortunately, because you enabled Cross-Save after the information was publicly available, you'll have to wait out the Silver Lock-On timer that's there as a security precaution, and then you'll have to wait 90 days after disabling Cross-Save before you can turn it on again as a separate security measure. Sadly, some bad trollish people made it so that Bungie had to put in a lot of protections and preparations with Cross-Save since it uses multiple platform accounts. Unfortunately, you'll have to deal with both of them and wait them out in order to resolve your mistake. When you're ready to reenable Cross-Save, double check before you click the button that tells the system that you've checked and are sure you want the accounts set up the way you set them up, as waiting until after you've enabled Cross-Save can lead to this problem again. If you have to disable Cross-Save again in the future after turning it back on, you'll end up with yet another 90-day wait, so it's best to make sure everything is the way you want it before you turn on Cross-Save.
