I understand the nerfs for pvp and pvp now feels a little better for it, but pve suffered big. my best example so far is i used a nighthawk on a yellow ogre and took less then 1/4 of its life while a teammate used a sniper to take close to 1/2 its life. the supers need a little help especially with the fact that you get them less. so now they are weaker and you get them 1-2 times a strike. wtf

Uh... your example isn't relevant because super damage was not touched. Just resistance, and tbh, nothing in PvE can really threaten you outside of a super.
-
They didn't touch super damage in PvE I'm pretty sure
-
The only super I think needs changed is the titan bubble. Bungie needs to make it more appealing somehow. Just make it a little more noticeable for my -blam!-ING TEAMMATES SO THEY ACTUALLY GET IN THE DAMN BUBBLE WHEN I USE MY DAMN SUPER TO HELP THE TEAM. Thanks in advance Bungie.
-
Laughs in chaos reach with geomag.
-
PvE was too ez before
-
Imagine Celestial Night Hawk had the Rat King treatment. Have 6 other hawks deals 6x6x6x6x6x6 more damage lmao
-
My money is on the possibility that you hit it on an Unstoppable Ogre. Which would have tanked this without having been staggered first.
-
That doesnt have to do with pvp. If you complained about dying in supers in pve easily that would be one thing because they did nerf armour, but in terms of damage supers have always been very weak compared to weapons except for celestial nighthawk
-
Some things still need tweaking, but overall I enjoy the game.
-
Some of them are definitely weaker than others. Like middle tree arc Titan, thundercrash feels weak. I know it's the same for other classes.
-
Some supers are pretty weak like middle tree arc titan, middle tree void hunter and middle void warlock but there are strong supers Top and bottom tree solar titan (mid tree is pretty good but it isn't as reliable) Bottom and mid tree solar hunter (top is only good for crucible) Top and bottom void hunter is weak by itself but with teammates, the damage is massive And Top and bottom tree void warlock is basically a nuke
-
Only supers that are weak are crash and vortex nova
-
I have a Warlock build with Ashes to Ashes, Light Reactor, Fusion ammo Finder, and I use Chaos Reach tree with Geomag, Loaded Question and Huckleberry. No. You're not remotely underpowered in this game. Not even close. Get good.

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 10/16/2019 2:05:02 AMSeriously, how long have you been playing destiny? I'm asking because most should know how the base game was released. Watered down and dumbed down. Bungie mechanics in D2 are too easy that making anything fun to play with brakes the game. Well done Bungie 🤦♂️ Edit: I had 24 upvotes in 5 min and I can see how hurt some people actually are when someone tells the actual truth, especially when it's me 🤣🤣😂

Shut up

Sounds like you either missed, or you’re outright lying. Nice try, tool.
-
This shit is hilarious.

Disagree, heavily. How are they weak? Because you can't constantly use them anymore or the fact they require some degree of strategy now? If I shoot a tether Im still going to kill everything caught in it and generate a ton of orbs. If I pop a Well or Bubble or Banner Shield Im still getting a massive damage buff, healing, and/or cover. If I use a Nova Bomb everything in its radius is going to die unless Im underleveled or its a boss, end of story. Certain supers weren't designed for PvE like Nova Warp and Spectral and top tree Dawnblade. Just learn how to use them for crying out loud. Its not difficult at all. The only super that truly needs love is Thundercrash.
-
Uh...they didn't nerf super damage at all. Maybe they tweaked how nightstalker worked, but nothing else has been touched. Remember, they made enemies harder to kill, which would make the supers seem weaker.
-
-
Supers in PvE? That’s still a thing?! The last time I played I used only finisher instead of supers. I think that’s what Bungie was after.
Bungie is beyond...

...stupid!
-
Lol GG was not nerfed at all in PvP or PvE. You're just using a terrible super. The only thing that was nerfed for PvE is damage resilience on several supers, which didn't really affect PvE too much.
-
At least your super does more than Thunderass
-
Thundercrash can be worth for spamming super if combined with monte carlo, skullfort and full super mod. But... Holy shit the damage are so weak ><
-
That's why I usually use it as finisher fuel.
