Gambit is STILL the worst game mode.........
Everything about this gamemode is still trash............ its almost unbelievable that bungie still allows this gamemode to exist, remove it from the game

I have the Dregden title, all of the pinnacle weapons that they have done so far for Gambit, win quite a lot so am pretty good at it and I ABSOLUTELY AGREE, I HATE PLAYING IT!!! I only do so because of how much they tie quests, gear and other such achievements to some facet of forcing you to play Gambit.

I wanted to go for dredgen, réaliser I had to reset my gambit rank 3 times, no thank you. Gambit is honestly horrible. Hunters are still doing combination blow to just cream bosses (yes I know not in supers but the comb blow is op regardless). Most blueberries are running around looking stupid because they clearly can’t move and shoot at the same time. It’s a horrible attempt at pvpve

9 RepliesI don't understand. For me, gambit is the best game mode out there. I still havent played a game mode that implements pve and pvp at the same time. This mode is innovative as hell. I just dont understand how my enemy melts the primeval every time.lol

Edited by [ＳiＮ]大き氷: 10/14/2019 6:45:45 PMIt basically tries to do what Dark Souls does but completely misses the most important part about Dark Souls gameplay and why it works. Everything is equally lethal. Both player and AI will kill you without hesitation. Meanwhile in Destiny the AI is both stupid and not lethal. It's guaranteed that they need large health pools, greater numbers, and sustained fire to push players back and even then only for a moment. Crucible is the opposite, and it just does not mix well at all.

1 ReplyPersonally I don't care for Gambit, Gambit Prime at least is a bit better since the single round means that if you get bad team mates you don't have to tolerate them too long, however the spawn system for invaders seems a bit weird, I have often had games where the invader spawns almost directly behind me (Within 5 second run from me) and I can't even react to that I just get killed. I've always been a PvE player but never had issues with PvP, Gambit is ok, its like a solid 6/10 for me in my opinion. A good concept but I don't know how I feel about the execution, not good at least.

I have clan members who hate it. I have some who love it. I personally like it. It'd be nice if there was a version without invasions. I have a feeling most gambit haters would be into that. The most demoralizing part is playing and getting killed by a sweaty invader running something like golden gun and truth. That has the potential to kill the joy of the gamemode for many. Honestly, a no heavy version would probably work out. Force people to use snipers and remove the ability for people to use things like Sleeper and Truth. Would feel less cheap when you die. But still, as is, I like it.

I can’t even bring myself to do it for the weekly challenge. I went to Drifter, hovered over a bounty and then thought “nope... this bullshit just isn’t worth it” and walked away. That’s how bad it is for me. I’ll turn down what is basically an easy reward because the mode is just that annoying.

I don't disagree that it can be super toxic and lacking in the fun department most of the time, but have you played Competitive PvP lately? It's FAR WORSE.

after doing that smg quest 3h i can say gambit it's fine it's the players who are ruining it for me not ressing not invadin looking at you recluse izanagi user and i have to invade with gl and poor range smg makes you wonder how many people got recluse
