Hey McBizzle. Thanks for your report and video. I'll send this in for an investigation. You may want to clear your console cache and check to see if that might help with your issue. If that doesn't work, you may want to uninstall the game, clear your console cache, then reinstall the game.

  • Done that, deleted it yesterday and the problem persisted and I checked my cache and destiny wasn't even in it.. So I'm very confused, I logged in on my girlfriends PlayStation and there wasn't any issues so I'm going to factory reset my ps4 now and hopefully it'll resolve it

  • You may wish to rebuild database in safe mode, it’s akin to defragging - not a one stop solution but it does sometimes help. Side note: Also in PS4, I’ve all but the helmet ornament on my Warlock and no probs.

Can you still boot into safe mode? As long as you can get into safe mode the system software can be reinstalled from USB - it’s factory reset though so all data will be lost. • Ya but when I initialize it it gets to 99% then stays there for ages then spazzes out then turns off, really weird man I've never seen anything like it n I've been on PlayStation all my life

  • Sounds like one of two things - HDD failure or Overheating. If it’s the first, you can swap the HDD and then reinstall the system software. If it’s the second, you’re pretty screwed. I wouldn’t advise buying a new HDD straight away in case it is overheating that is causing this. If you can get your hands on a spare drive (no matter the capacity) you could put it in and install the system software using the USB method just to see if it boots. Alternatively you can check the health of the HDD by connecting it to a PC and using software but this can take a long time. Note: The HDD can be removed on all models without having to open the console up.
