I dont understand why I have to buy upgrade modules to infuse gear. The modules use the same materials and effectively do the same thing except now I have to buy a module first... what's the reason for adding a step? Its counterproductive.

  • They’re cheaper and can drop from other sources.

  • Cheaper? Seem like they cost about the same amount as infusion cost before. I think theres a little glimmer difference.

  •
I dont understand why I have to buy upgrade modules to infuse gear.
Because it allows them to rotate the currency required to get them....and it limits your ability to HOARD them, and break the economy.

  • You can't break what isn't there, me having/ hoarding more doesn't effect you in the slightest. There's is no economy, there's Bungie's pace in place.

Actually it does... and there very much is one But that’s not the point. It’s Bungie’s game and they’re tired of us breaking it.

  • In what manner does it then? Also it's made by Bungie for the customers not themselves.

  • 1. Because hoarding materials was allowing people to level up far faster than Bungie intended. Which causes a host of problems. Especially in end game pvp, and in an environment where Bungie is trying to find a way to bring back Trials of Osiris. 2. They make the game to make money. Don’t kid yourself.

I do however have 1k+ iron banner tokens ready for next reset.

  • Maybe the rotating currency part but I have so many materials that hoarding yet one more thing isnt an issue. For me, it just adds another purchasing step.
