I think most of us agree this exotic was broken before it was nerfed to the ground a few months ago. I say nerfed to the ground because it is definitely not exotic-tier anymore and is misleading at best to keep this as an exotic as it currently stands. Please understand that my opinions are based on PvE performance and I’m not considering the performance in Crucible. Also, my opinions are are based on the exotic helmet, not the Nova Bomb super in general. The exotic perks are Nova Bomb kills grant super energy and it gives a small bump to resilience while casting Nova Bomb. Here are some things I think that can be done with it... 1.) Give it a small buff and give more super energy from mini bosses and bosses killed. Like Shards of Galanor, it should also return a little bit of super energy on enemies hit but not killed as well. Not pre-nerf style. Just a small increase in super regen. 2.) Don’t give it more super regen but give it an ADDITIONAL perk, not take away the little it currently has. An additional perk would again be, super regen on enemies hit but not killed. Another could be to regen grenades and melee as well as super, similar to the Crown of Tempests for the arc subclasses. 3.) Turn it into a legendary helmet and keep the Skull as is with no buff or additional perk. Again, it’s misleading to still call this an exotic as it stands currently. There’s so many other ways to regen supers much faster than this helmet in the current and previous sandboxes to continue to call this an exotic helmet. I don’t think the next four are viable but for polling reasons I’m listing them anyway... 4.) Remove it from the game if no other options are viable for you guys to implement. Again, it’s misleading at best to still call this exotic when a helmet with ashes to assets or whatever else will return more super energy by far. 5.) Return it to the way it was before it was nerfed, even if it was considered broken by most. 6.) It’s fine the way it is right now and doesn’t need a buff or nerf. 7.) Nerf it some more, it’s still broken!
