Ideally heavy would only spawn once per round. You get rewarded for good map control, you get your 1-2 free kills then it’s back to primary’s and gunskill.

So having 2 truth rockets. That’s 2 lives lost just like that. The enemy has life advantage so they can just camp heavy, meanwhile you have to push to try and get 2 picks without dying. It’s just rinse and repeat every round. It’s not “competitive” at all

An interesting mechanic would be to only spawn heavy during the tie-breaker instead of the control zone, and give it a 10-second timer or so to actually pick up. Right now whoever gets to the control zone, wins - especially if they already have heavy.

should be once a match. mid round and either at half the time or when half the score is reached by one team.

Cozmo... Everyone loved Elimination as the Trials mode in D1. Why is that the mode being 'tested' in Labs right now, while the main competitive mode is the one that isn't being received well and needing constant change? Shouldn't these modes be reversed? Survival in Labs and Elimination in Comp.... Unless Trials is coming back soon then ya know I understand lol

Heavy needs to be once a game in competetive, once a team gets to 3 rounds won, heavy should spawn in the middle of the map. Quickplay should be 2 times 1/4 and 3/4 the way through

No it doesn't, makes the games all go a similar way, rush to heavy, camp at heavy, use a one hit kill heavy cuz cant use primary.

The heavy system as it was in D1 fulfilled those same things without intruding on the gunskill vs gunskill game that the majority of players love. The way it is now it's like the primary way of winning. If my team is better than the other team, we pretty much automatically win because we get heavy more often than the other team which makes it hard for them to fight back. Not only are we better but we're armed with weapons that they can't compete with. In competitive... You should never feel like you're at a disadvantage outside of skill. It's not like Halo where we all start with just an AR and pistol... We start with weapons that can one shot kill... So Heavy is too overkill as an 'objective'.
