Well, for better or for worse, the solution worked for me. Seems like a poor bandaid to broken promise. As I previously stated in another thread, if Bungie would be more open and communicative about issues such as these, they could have avoided a great deal of ill will. An apology or some attempt to make it right would be a small step in the right direction.

I'm sorry but -blam!- this "solution". This is not a solution, this is a lazy way for them to walk away from this and wash their hands of this mess. Best part is, this "solutions" doesn't even work for everyone, many people get errors or their characters just disappear. I'm going to wait for a real fix or never play a Bungie game again, it's Bungie's choice.
