I 100% agree. Armor 2.0 is great... or it would be if the elements weren't holding it back for seemingly no reason, especially on exotic armor where you 'can't' get different element roles.

Get an arc, solar and void piece for each item? Is that too complicated?

I never said it was complicated, it's tedious. That isn't a fact just an opinion so chill your guns. Also I noticed how you skimmed over exotic armour which is by far the worst part since you can't grind a specific piece very easy at all.

Except first off, you can't get exotics with different elements and second, you would be hard pressed to maintain your stats and elements with legendary armor. Rerolling elements for a fee would work well.
